As of this writing, keep the ball in the fairway. The rough in many areas has been taken over by that kakuia? grass. It is tall and thick and grabs your club sending the ball left. Only go for it if you have a perfect lie, otherwise choose the best club to advance into the fairway.

Good shape for the scorching weather. Stay out of the rough! It will grab your club. Use hybrid clubs from the rough if you have them and you will save strokes. Greens break less than they read. Use a high launch driver; your drives will not roll much on these fairways.

Good value. Nice challenging layout. Good pace of play for a resort course. Greens are slow and inconsistant as of this writing. Sand traps are very thin with hard bottoms.

Course is in pristine shape. Greens are in great shape for just going through overseeding. This course is always well maintained and plays faster than a lot of the major resort courses.

This is a difficult course, make sure you play the right tees as this club has not marked them like most. Blue here plays like black tees. The course is a great layout, but I suggest that you not play when they have cartpath only in place here, because the gps system is a must to navigate this course. Expect to pay top dollar to play a round here, where your score will be much higher than at your home course. THE ONE BIG NEGETIVE ABOUT THIS COURSE IS THE NATIVE AREAS THEY USE INSTEAD OF ROUGH. THESE AREAS HAVE BEEN FILLED WITH GRAVEL TO PLAY AS GIANT SAND TRAPS. HITTING OUT OF THESE AREAS CAUSES DAMAGE TO YOUR CLUBS.

Pace of play was unacceptable. They book too many tournaments at this course. Green speeds were inconsistant. Lightning fast for the first 6 or 7 holes, then good the rest of the course. A fine layout that starts difficult and becomes easier. Sand traps are thin with maybe a 1/2 inch sand before you hit hard pan.

This is a jem of a course. Most people think it is a military course only, but the public is welcome here. It is always well maintained with the best green fees around. This public course is comparable to more expensive resort courses. No pansy par 3's here, the shortest is 158 yds with the rest between 181 -207.

Great layout! A bit overpriced but people are paying it. Scorecards need depth of green yards added to give players the most info to make club decisions. This is a course where local knowledge will lower your score.

Nice public course. Greens are usually in good shape. Fairways are usually OK. Rough is spotty with bare patches (where my ball usually ends up). The layout is excellent. There are no 2 holes on Chino Creek that are similar. NOTE: scorecards aren't accurate on yardage as they have added tee boxes; especially on the par 3's. Walk off the yardage from the hole sign when in doubt.

Got to play this course before it is open to the public. Awesome layout. Great value for the green fees. IMPORTANT: you will be tempted to play the blue tees when you see the 6500 yard total! Unless you are a single digit handicap you will be disappointed with your score....play the whites. This is a par 70 course with 6 par 3's. The rough is Burmuda and very difficult to hit out of. Keep the ball in the fairway and you will score low. Front 9 is easier than the back 9, which features back to back, a 468 par 4 and 614 uphill par 5. The only negative I can give this course is there is no plan to include a driving range at this course currently.
