Played a Thanksgiving round. We had the last tee time and there was no one behind us, a very nice round. Loved that this course provided variety in Jack's courses. Each hole was different and presented their own individual challenges. Course was beautiful and scenic. Tee boxes were perfect. Lush and level. Fairways were nice as well and very lush. Rough was exactly that-rough. About 3-5" of rough that sometimes made it hard to find your ball. Greens and bunkers were completely far from perfect. Greens had so many unrepaired divots and bunkers had hard, packed sand. Customer service was excellent. We got wet towels, water in the ice chests, and divot repair tools all before the round started.

The bunkers and greens were very under par for this course. Luckily we got a discount on this course as I'm not really sure it's worth the full priced rate.

Played my favorite course today. Had an 11:06am tee time and finished closer to 4pm. This course is beautiful and in great condition. Tee boxes were nice and trim, fairways were nice as well. even after the rains we just had, nothing was muddy or soft. The only issue is with the greens. Lots of unrepaired divot marks that were starting to heal making the greens a but bumpy at times. Service was excellent as always. They come and get your bags for you in the parking lot. Saw the Marshall a few times checking in on things. Saw the cart girl on many holes. After our round, we ate at the restaurant and their food is always very good, even the bar menu. Excellent service all around.

Played yesterday in under 3.5 hours!!! A very nice and quick enjoyable round. The starter let us out a little bit early. Was just the 2 of us and didn't have to wait until the last few holes, but only for a few minutes. Weather was PERFECT, nice and sunny!! The driving range was completely grassy except around the flags, which actually looked quite nice. Range was in great shape. Practice green was nice and very true to the greens on the course. Course is in great condition. I don't know what's going on with the bunkers, but they're still full of rocks and were quite hard packed as well. Tee boxes were nicely mowed and trim, but some were not level. Fairways were nice and greens were firm. No divots at all. Cart girl came around a few times. Overall, very nice course. Staff is very friendly and always great service. I wish they would fix the bunkers to actually have sand in them. I tried to avoid them, but couldn't :(

Had a nice and quick round today. Tee boxes were not level at all and a lot of divots. Greens were nice. Sand bunkers were in perfect condition, lots of sand and fluffy. I was in a lot of them and they were all good. Water was provided on every hole. Pace of play was excellent. This 9 hole par 3 is not easy. Great views on every hole, we were lucky to have had great weather, it was nice and clear. Tees and ball markers are complimentary. Staff was nice and friendly.

Played here for the first time. Customer service is top notch and all staff were friendly. Played in under 4 hours. Greens were still green, fairways were still in good playable condition. Course was mildly dry, but not overly lush. Plenty of ice/water machines on the course. Cart girl and cart guy came often. Great pace of play. Sand traps were immaculate. Best sand traps I've ever played out of. The marshal came and gave us cold towels, scented in mango. Typical awesome Troon Service. One of the best!!!

I've decided to write a review, but not do the detailed rating since we played the the last weekend before the course closed, so the conditions were based on that.

This is my favorite course, I'm not sure why, but it is. Each hole is different, they each pose their own challenges, and its a very nice course, kind of reminds me of old Palm Springs where you'd expect to see Bob Hope or Frank Sinatra. Reminiscent of old Palm Springs!

We played Saturday, Sept. 28, second to the last day before they closed for maintenance. They shut off the water a week or two before, so everything was dry and very little grass, but still very playable. Had a little bit of a slow round at just over 5 hours. No marshal in sight. Cart girl game around quite a bit, which was good, because it was a little hot that day.

The food at the restaurant is very good and so is the service. We try to eat here either before or after our round (except for Sundays when they have brunch).

Glad to have been able to get in a last round before the closure! Looking forward to when they reopen the course as I will be back.

Played here today. Was held up by the starter for about 20 extra minutes because he wasn't sure if the men's club tournament had gone through or not. Lots of spots on the fairways that had no grass or just plain dirt. Sand on the front had a lot of large rocks in them and no one seemed to rake after themselves. The back 9 sand traps were a bit better, some hard packed and fluffy. Greens were nice and soft but seemed like no one had repaired their divots. Quite a few bare spots on green. Tee boxes were probably the best thing on that course, lush and grassy. I was disappointed in the course condition. Very poor condition. Staff at the pro shop was nice, cart girl was around and friendly.

This was our 3rd time playing this course, we prefer the Mountain course as there's not that many sand traps! Pace of play was excellent, finished in about 4 hours. The starter even asked us if we wanted to play on the other course as it wasn't as busy, but the Mountain course had a lot of 4-somes and it was just the 2 of us. We decided to stick with the Mountain course. We were between 2 4-somes, but never had to wait. The greens were a bit slow. Tee boxes and fairways were soft. The sand bunkers were really nice, nice packed sand and enough of it. The maintenance guys were out there working today. Some brown spots in the fairway, but it was still playable. It was busy today, I'm surprised because it was 106*. When we were done, the guy said that this is one of the busiest courses still in the Palm Springs area, they had 200 players today! Very pretty foliage as well, and it seems just about every hole had nice shade to park under. This is one of my favorite courses. Played great today and hit 100% in fairways, a golfing goal I had yet to accomplish, until today!

First and foremost, a BIG THANK YOU to JohnnyGK for putting together this event. This was my (our) first GK event and will definitely lead to more future outings! It was great to meet new people and hopefully can golf together soon!!

This was my first time ever playing here. Great weather! The tee boxes had a few divots, same with the fairways. The greens were excellent, but hard and a little difficult to read. The rough, at times, was extremely difficult to get out of. You either couldn't see your ball because it was eaten by the long grass, or if you got out of it, it didn't go where you were aiming because it just grabbed your club head through impact. I donated a few balls to the water on 15. Played extremely well until the 15the hole. All the holes are different, some offered really great views. This course makes you use every club in your bag.

I don't remember when the BF and I last played here. It must have been a while because on the carts now have GPS and ice chests. The ice chests are definitely a must especially in the summer time. We played today, was the fastest round ever coming in at about 3.25 hours!! Since it was just the 2 of us, a few of the groups ahead of us let us play through. With a starting tee time around noontime today, it was quite warm. This is a great course. Even in the brutal hot summer, the course is kept in great condition. This is a links style course, so there aren't many trees available for shade. Each hole is different and even provides some challenges even for me. Ended up in the sand bunkers quite a bit. My only concern was the bunkers. Lots of rocks and it was hard packed sand. Even scratched my sand wedge on a few of my shots since there were way too many rocks. Beware that during the summer, everything closes at 2pm.

We played on Saturday using the FB deal. Really tough course!! The customer service is by far THE BEST ever. You park your car and someone comes after you with a cart and picks up your bags and they're ready for you on a cart and everything when you're ready to tee off. Carts have GPS, ice chest with ice and bottles of water, towels and tees. Range balls are included. They have a great short game practice area. A few sandy bunkers that you can practice sand shot, a few putting greens. Our tee time was at 12:10pm and we barely finished our round. Sun went down around 4:30-5pm and when it starts going down its really cold, so prepare for that. A few holes you have to carry water and there were a few where you had to carry the terrain. I lost about 9 golf balls (to the water or the mountainside). Greens were SUPER fast, like you were putting on glass. Otherwise, GREAT course. I wouldn't pay the $200 that it costs to play, but for a deal like this weeked, you just couldn't pass it up. I'm surprised there weren't more people on the course and they were on time! There was a cart girl, I think she needs a new cart because it kept back firing, was pretty funny :)

There's a special going on right now for this course for this weekend only: January 29-30. 7-12pm tee times are $89 and tee times after 12pm ar just $49. Its this weekend only. I've never played this course and was able to get a tee time this weekend. So I'll be bringing extra golf balls and will be having fun!
