I played on 1/26 and the cousre was in beautiful condition. Tee boxes, greens and fairways were in good shape. Slow play, however. We had a fivesome in front of us that was quite slow. Course is a mix of doglegs, elevated tee boxes and greens. A nice course overall. The only distraction was
the slow play : 5 hour round on a Sunday.

Not a bad city run course. Wide open and very forgiving. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens are usually in excellent condition.

A nice short course that is fairly open. Noise from the 101 freeway detracts from what would otherwise be a nice experience. Usually wide open during the weekdays, weekends are a little crowded. Nice driving range with the practice balls in excellent condition. Some water in play on this course.

Beautiful for an LA City course. Elevation changes and fairly open. Greens and tee boxes were in poor shape when I played.
If the greens and tee boxes were in better condition, this would have been a great deal for $21 during the week.

A nice, new course. Few trees in the fairways. Fairly open, with many elevation changes and some water in play. Nice, fast, consistent greens. Tee boxes in excellent shape.

My favorite LA County course. Usually in excellent shape fro the amount of play that
it receives. Undulating fairways, but fairly wide open. Play during the week as this place gets a lot of play on the weekend.
Wonderful holes and a great snack bar !

In wonderful condition and some really nice holes. Courteous staff. A little pricey at $65.00 on the weekend, though.

In a word - target golf. Tight fairways, doglegs and some elevation changes make course management important when you play this course. It has been called "The Thinking Man's Golf Course". Accuracy, not length is important when playing this course.
Leave your driver at home and bring your
3/4/5/7 woods and/or 1/2/3 irons out...

A par 61 executive course that plays a lot longer. Some long 200 yard par 3's and elevation changes and water make this course interesting. Crowded on the weekends, but worthwhile to play during the week.

A long (6800 yards from the tips) course with some water and bunkers in play. Best time to play is during the week as weekends
are very crowded. Usually in decent condition, except after events are held at the Rose Bowl as Brookside is used as the parking lot !

A long, open course. Very forgiving and a great place to try those new clubs out as there is not too much trouble here. A confidence building course.

Tough greens, scenic course. Uneven lies
and slopes on the fairways make for an interesting round. Some forced carries over canyons, etc. A good value.
