Played Bayonet and be advised, the rough here was not to be trifled with. According to the Marshall on patrol they are letting it grow for an upcoming tournament. You may need a defoliant to get the ball out of it. Course was in good shape otherwise but it is sad that they are molding a new high end home development around the course. The great views will be spoiled.

Without a doubt this course is a must play if you are in the area. Course was in fabulous shape and the staff was top notch. Its not for the faint of heart so if you are a high handicapper you may struggle but the views and course itself may just make it worth your while. The tee boxes, fairways, rough, and greens were all in great shape. Can't wait to go back even if the town of Santa Cruz is like a 3rd world country.

Was staying at the Hyatt next door and decided to hop on over and play Del Monte. What a pleasant surprise. Not the high profile of other courses in the area but a tremendous value. Super friendly staff and an extremely fun course. Fairways were in great shape and the greens were a little fast. I was warned that the course was a bit dry by the staff but compared to some of the courses here in Southern California it was downright lush. If you are looking to play a Monterey course without the hassle of some of the other properties I would highly recommend this one.

Played on 08/14/2021. Course is in fine shape. The remodel was done very well. Fairways were in good shape and the greens rolled true even late in the day. A fun little course to get in some practice and the staff was very friendly.

Course is in good shape overall. Bunkers a little light on sand but fairways were lush and had good coverage. Played twilight so the greens were a little on the bumpy side. Aside from the slothful triple digit handicappers clogging up the course from the blues it was a great afternoon.

Played the always busy Costa Mesa courses on Thursday and Saturday. Bumpy greens were the order of the day at Mesa Linda. As usual the pace of play was super slow but with the cool ocean breeze it was a lot better than a quick round inland. Good idea to just relax and enjoy the sunshine.

Course was in very good shape. Much better than my last visit. Very good value @ $43 with a cart on a Saturday. Greens were consistent and fairways in good shape.

Played Company event, have to say I would have paid my own way. Nice course all around. Staff was a little belligerent.

I would have been better off teeing it up in the middle of the street. One of the worst places I have ever played.
