Played on November 14th 2012- One word, DRY! looks like a summer course. Must be starting over seeding SUPER late in the season.I really enjoy this course normally. Large trees are placed strategically in groves as well as at key points on fairways just at the distances you want to land. high walled bunkers are also placed on fairways and around greens at challenging locations. Especially on the fair ways I think they are on every fairway. nice layout and a great history. Oldest course in Tucson used to host the PGA in the 50's. worth playing but give it a little time right now for the best conditions.

What a beautiful course. Got to play solo-literally-only one on course due to a little cold weather. Great 9 hole w/ 2 par 5's, elevated tees alot of elevation challenges along with desert elements. A great water par 4 w/ the green surrounded on 3 sides and a large Mesquite just in front of the safe entrance to the green. Sand was well maintained as was everything. 18 play the 9 twice which is a neat way to instantly re visit failures on a hole and try what you "should have done." Price was very reasonable. Had a misunderstanding with the pro shop attendant as to my reservations but Management took great care of me. Don't miss this course when in Tucson. It reads slope of 110 but is a bit more like a 120 due to elevation and other challenges like unseen greens and doglegs into valleys so much crammed into 9 holes. Super fun. Took some photos I'll post also.

Played on Nov. 3rd. It's a great short game course but a few 4's you can start w/ a driver. It's the affordable option during our high season at 25.00 for 18 with cart. Really good shape, very mature trees some adventuresome water holes. For as open as it seems there are quite a few ball placement strategies to pay attention to or just drive the green and avoid it all if you can. Bunkers need some fresh sand very infested with stones. Greens are in good shape fairways as well. Well worth the cost to remind you your short game deserves your attention.
