Played yesterday. Course is in fairly good shape. Got out in 2nd group and finished in under 4 hrs, as it should be. LB match play city championship playing behind us, lots of quality players in the house. Greens were running quick, and mostly smooth.

Got in the back nine yesterday morning. The course is fairly decent shape right now. The greens are slow to medium speed and mostly smooth, and are very soft right now. This is a tough course to play the back nine - first three holes are very demanding right out of the shute.

I've played this course about 3 times in the last year and half - mostly because you can play it for half the price of what the premium golf courses in the area charge. Of course, you shouldn't expect it to be in the same class, but overall, its a decent course with some interesting hole layouts. Its a traditional layout rather than a desert layout, and landing areas off the tee are generous. The times I've played it, I found the conditions to be fair to good as far as tee boxes, traps, fairways and greens are concerned. Better to play early here if you want to play a sub 4 hr round as this is american golf, so they try to pack in as many as possible making the afternoons a fuster cluck out there.

Beautiful course, but you'd better have your 'A' game with you, or be prepared to be punished. Even the slighlty off the mark shot ends up in nasty stuff - true desert style layout.

Fairways are brown, with lots of divots, or just plain clumpy. Greens are medium to fast, but very bumpy at times. They kinda look and putt like someone pressed a giant waffle iron over all of them.

This is one of the most scenic golf courses in the area, with many elevated tee boxes with tremendous views of the valley. The course itself is very short, only about 6,000 yards from the blue tees, fairly tight off the tee is the course's protection. Have a killer margarita afterward at the resort's Tonto Bar.

This is one of the most highly rated public courses in the area. Its a very forgiving, user friendly layout. I specifically remember many fairways being banked on both sides bringing balls hit left or right of the fairway back into the fairway. It has great views, is well maintained, some perched tee boxes, and some interesting holes. This is the perfect course to start a golf trip on - its fun and a confidence builder.

Have only played the original 18 at we ko pa, but was very impressed. A real fun desert layout to play, and a first class run facility. I booked a group of 12 of us to play here last year, and was very impressed with the service we got, really accomodating. The course itself is a desert layout with only a few forced carries, not too penal except for the really wayward player. The course is on Indian reservation land, and is very scenic. Nice outdoor patio area provides a nice place to have a beer after the round is over.

I've played this course about 4 times in the last 3 years, mostly because its easy to get on and close to where I stay when I'm in town. Its a fairly nice desert layout, though not too punishing. Not a good value for the money - too high priced compared to the competition. Its managed by american golf, which means its not run that well or efficiently, or with real golfers in mind. The front nine is the better of the 2 nines. Back nine has some holes that appear to have been squeezed into the design. The course is usually maintained in decent shape. Better to play early here before the wind kicks up in the afternoon.

Played saturday, 11/4. The course is fairly decent condition, fairways have some bare patches, and some hardpan out there. The greens were pretty quick, but a tad bumpy at times.

Played 8/19. On the positive side of things, the greens are in nice shape - medium soft and they roll nice. This is also a fun layout to play, lots of elevation changes. Negatively, the fairways are in poor condition - many, many bare spots - not sure its a function of the new-ness of the course or maybe some disease. Hopefully, this will improve as this course matures.

Played here for the first time, friday 5/26. I had read comments about this track prior to playing and was interested to see for myself. I enjoyed my round here, especially getting a reduced rate on click for tee times. The course was in overall very nice condition. I agree with all the others who comment on hardness of the greens. I don't hit a particulary high ball or use pro v's so nothing checked up for me all day long. Seemed like all the par 3's were about 200 yds (where's the variety?), played about 185-190, and I hit all of them, only to watch them all trickle off the back. Other than that, I think this is a fairly forgiving layout with lots of room off the tee, but makes you work for your par because of the greens. Overall, nothing to stress you out too much, just a fun day of golf.
