Played Torrey Pines North Course on 6-25 on a beautiful sunny day. It was my first time playing this municipal public golf facility.
Great views of the Ocean from some of the front 9 holes. I loved the Par 3 6th hole. 160 yds from an elevated tee.
I found the course on great shape and perfect conditions. Fairways are lush and rough is super lush, at times really thick and challenging. Greens are great as well rolling true with no visible ball marks.
Pace of play was great. I played on a foursome teeing off at 8,49 am, finished at 1,15 pm.

Played Trump National on 5/26/12, and from the last time I played there (april 2011, they were aerating the fairways on that period) I found the course in immaculate conditions. Tee boxes, fairways, greens were more then perfect, so were the bunkers.
I love the huge practice area, even if on Saturday only an half of it was open and the conditions of the grass of the driving range weren't so fantastic. Hundreds of divots, and just a few inches of available virgin grass.
The course is always incredibly spectacular and challenging with an unforgettable Pacific Ocean view from every hole.
Great customer service, and friendly starter Manny gives to every player the perfect tips to challenge this monster course.

If you can find a great deal on your tee time like I did (less than an half of the full rate) this course is definitely a must play. IMO the best public course of the LA area.

Played Paiute Wolf on May 25th GK Play event.
A great Pete Dye designed course, extremely long from the back tees (7604 yds!!), located inside the Paiute Indian Reservation, just North of Vegas, surrounded by the breathtaking Southern Nevada desert and the Springs Mountains.
Despite yesterday's extremely windy conditions, course is in great shape.
This Dye's creation features many interesting holes, among them the beautiful island green Par 3 15th, a revisitation of its famous Par 3 17th "Alcatraz" at Tpc Stadium in La Quinta.

This is a course you need to know, due to the many blind shots, dog-legs, hided bunkers and mounds you'll encounter.
I suggest every first time Wolf Course player to get a yardage book from the Pro Shop...you'll really need it.

Great golfing experience on one of the most incredible golf courses I ever played.
Course is beautiful and really challenging, and I can understand why is ranked among the most toughest courses in America.
Anyway five sets of tees are available and everybody can enjoy the "ride".
I played twice in one day, first time from the whites, then from the blues.
Amazing 360° views of the surrounding desert area and red rock mountains from the highest tee boxes.
Check your gasoline powered golf cart breaks before your round. You'll really need to use them. Some of the steepest cart path I ever seen!!
Pace of play is slow. Plan at least 5 hrs to complete a round on a foresome.
On my first round I played single in 3hrs teeing off at 6,50 am. Second round, with other 3 golfers, took me 5 hrs teeing off at 10.50.
Great customer service, and friendly starter.
Two more thing if you are planning to play Wolf Creek:
Bring you camera (you'll take a lot of pictures) and some sleeves of extra-balls...you may need them!!

I didn't play Wolf Creek yet, but I consider Conestoga Golf right now one of the the best, challenging, scenic and fun to play golf courses I ever played.
Some of the holes are masterfully designed around the typical desert landscape.
Conditions of the course were great, pace of play too (I played single under 3.5 hours).
A must play for everyone going to Mesquite or Las Vegas area.
Do not miss it!!

Played today May 23rd. Hot and windy.
An incredible Nicklaus golf course located literally in the middle of nowhere. And this is the amazing thing. Playing golf at Coyote Springs looks like playing in another planet.
I reached the course after a pleasant drive from Vegas in a desert land.
The course is in perfect conditions, greens were firm and fast. The huge practice area is impressive.
Really challenging layout specially on a strong windy day like today.
The lakes surrounding some of the holes of the course have the clearest water I ever seen on a golf course!!
Soon I'll post the best photos I took on my skygolfblog.com

One of my favorite courses in SoCal, 27 holes of true golf...Played on 10/28 on Canyon Crest+ Creekside. First 9 easier and a lot of fun...back 9 simply wonderful and challenging...
Best holes 1,7,9 on the Canyon Crest 4,5,6,7,9 on the Creekside.
Greens, fairways and tee boxes in perfect conditions...A private country club conditions course open to the public.
In August I played Ridgeline also...3 par 5, 3 par 3 for an unforgettable and enjoyable experience.

One of the best courses I played in SoCal...Green fee is a little expensive but it is worth it.
It is one of those courses where you can remember the layout of every hole you played.
3,8,10,11,14,17 for me are the best.
Practice Facilities have everything you may need.
I read somewhere that Aviara can be compared to Augusta for all the flowers and plants you can see around the course. Never been to Augusta, but for sure Aviara is a great experience.
I'll be back for sure.

Played yesterday Nov 7th, third time for me. Great course, a strategic challenge.A must play on the San Diego Area. Yesterday was cart path only and pace has been very low (over 5hrs) otherwise usually is around 4 hrs.
Great staff, beautiful clubhouse, cart equipped with gps and 5 stars practice facility.
