Played on 11/5. I had a 12pm tee time but walked on earlier and the guy at the proshop let me out right away with other three golfers at 11,05am. We all rided and we finished after 4hrs 40min.
Challenging conditins yesterday at Rustic due to the wind, 15-20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Played here many times with no wind, or just a little, but yesterday was a totally different course. 4 of the 5 par par 5s played into the wind.
I struggled on a couple of holes due to the wrong club selection but I had a lot of fun on this piece of Scotland in tha heart of SoCal.
After 18 they let me play again the front 9 before sunset.
No wind and a totally different course and score (39 from the blue tees).

Overall conditions were great, and I found the greens faster then ever.

Played on 11/5. Always one my favorite courses in SoCal.
Had a tee time at 6,56 am. I walked on as single a little earlier and the starter let me out right away. I was the first and only one on the course.

Played Canyon Crest (some bare spots on the fairways and some unrepaired ball marks on the greens) and Ridgeline (perfect conditions!!). Pace of play 2.50hrs considering a 10 min coffebreak at the turn. An SCGA Tournament was taking place in the morning and when I left the course it was getting superpacked.

Played La Purisima on 10/19.
Great layout with some really challenging holes. Overall conditions were good, although some of the fairways and rough had bare spots. Greens run true, at times very fast.
Sand trap quality was very good (I visited a couple of bunkers)
Not bed POP. Our twosome took less then 4hrs to complete the round.
If you choose to ride, carts are not equipped with GPS.

Played today 10/18 for the first time. Challenging layout with some great holes, even if some of them are really close to I5 highway and some others are surrounded by ugly electricity poles.
Beside that I really had a lot of fun playing TPC. I loved the back nines, lot of elevation changes and spectacular views.
Course conditions are perfect, fairways are lush and greens run true and really fast.
They've just reopened after green aeration and overseeding.
Of course Tpc Valencia will be cart path only for the next couple of weeks.
Pace of play a little over 4h with no rush.
I played with my Pro from Italy. Looked like we were the only two golfers on the course.

Played on friday 9/14 at 2pm. Found a great deal on Golf Now for $65 (friday rack rate is $175, twilight is $99).
First time for me playing OCGC.
I really loved the course. Challenging but fair. Overall conditions were perfect, considering the high heat of the period. Temperature was well over F100 during my round.
Played on a foursome with a decent pace of play. We finished at 6.15 pm and we passed through the very slow foursome in front of us at hole #8.
Right now car path only on holes #4 and #15.

Cart were provided with two bottles of water and we saw the cart girl at least three times.

Huge practice area were you can practice every aspect of the game.

Played Black Gold on Friday 9/14. Perfect pace of play for me: teed off at 8,00 am as a single and finished at 11,30 am going through a couple of fouresome. I liked the layout of the course even if could enjoy it 100% cause they are aerating the greens right now.
Other than that overall conditions were pretty good, considering also the high temperature of the period (at 11am temperature was close to F°100).

Played on 8/24 on the afternoon. I had a great twilight rate.
The course is in the same conditions it was two weeks ago, as I wrote on my previous review.
From my previous visit new tee boxes on #17 are now open.
Pace of play a little over 4h 30m. It was pretty busy but always a great experience playing Eagle Glen.

Played on 8/24. First time for me playing Journey.
The course is in perfect conditions. Fairways are lush and greens rolled true and fast.
I've been on one bunker and sand was ok.
#6 hole with a 175 yds drop from the tee boxes has great views of the Temecula valley.
#13 has tee boxes under repair so we teed off from the ladies tees.
Pace of play was a little over 4 hrs.
Every cart has GPS that works in yds or meters (perfect for me!!!).
Great practice area with pyramids of balls available ready to be use on the driving range and on the short game area.
Cart girl came by 5 or 6 times.

I had a great deal to play Journey so it was ok for me but I think the rack rate is overrated for the course.

Played on 8/10 on a really really hot day.
Great layout with a collection of beautiful and challenging holes, above all the finishing Par 5 18th.
Conditions are generally good considering the heat of the period, with some work-in-progress areas on fairways and tee boxes. New tees on holes #2 and #9 and a in a few weeks a new tee box complex on the par 3 #17 is going to be completed.
Golf carts are equipped with GPS and customer service is great.
Practice area is huge and perfect to warm up before your round.
Pace of play for a friday afternoon was great. 4 hours playing on a foursome and having another foursome in front of us.
As soon as the course will be back to have pristine conditions (and they really care about it) it will be one of the greatest deals and greatest courses on the Inland Empire.

Just finished playing a round at LV. Course is in great shape, greens are perfect and fairways are mainly lush and firm. Great sunny day with a marvellous Catalina Islands view.
The only disappointment is on the fivesome policy. I love LV but allowing fivesome is something that kills and slows your game.
Pace of play 4h30 min teeing off at 6,45am playing front nine as a threesome and the back nine as a fivesome (marshall wanted the twosome behind to join us).

Played Tijeras Creek soon after Torrey Pines South. I stopped by on my drive back to LA on 6-26 afternoon. Didn't have a tee time reservation. I showed up at 1,50pm and they let me go at 2pm joining a threesome.
I found myself playing with GK member asti1019!!
First time for me and I was very curios to play TC.
Conditions overall are good, some of the fairways have repaired divots and several greens are plenty of ball marks. Par 3 tee boxes have divots damages.
Layout is great, I really enjoyed playing Tijeras.
Back 9 are absolutely my favorite and totally different from the front 9.
It is like playing two different courses in one.
Pace of play 4.5hrs but it would have been less the 4hrs if we didn't have a really slow slow foursome in front of us.

Torrey Pines South is may be the best course I played in SoCal. Played on 6-26 and I found it on great conditions in general.
Great layout, amazing location. May be too expensive for a non SD resident, but it remains a must play.
