Played here on 4/21. Course conditions were perfect. Very little wind which was nice considering the forecast. Course is a must play before they aerate in May. Greens ran true with perfect speed, fairways are lush with no bad lies that I could see. Got great local rate but also they post good tourists rates on golfnow.com as well I saw some as low as 60 dollars which is excellent considering what other local courses are getting away with charging.

highly recommended also great gps which is necessary for first time players.

Played here on 4/4 on a breezy afternoon got a terrific rate on their website for 35 dollars and this is not a local rate so highly recommended for tourists visiting the area. Course is very lush and green. Only problem was greens were aerated 10 days ago which I knew about but give it 10 more days and this course will be perfect! Pace of play was great got around in 4 hours. Customer service is always good here no problems! Highly recommended especially in one more week when greens are back to normal!!

Played here on 3/31 on a beautiful afternoon. Course is in okay shape right now. Greens are a little bumpy for this course with many light green splotches. Fairways were average also with too many tight lies for me. This course is usually in better shape this time of year but was still a fun course to play. A good course for the lower price they offer just wish it was in better shape.

Played here on a perfect weather day for golf. Great customer service and got great rate through Johnny GK (courtesy of TPC Las Vegas). Thanks again John. Course was in good shape seems to be getting plenty of play at this PGA venue course. Greens were most receptive I have played in Vegas recently. Layout is sort of vanilla on the front 9 but picks up on the back with many canyons which I found too often. Nice views on many holes. Course actually is not that long with many birdie chances available. Greens are tricky to read I found. Good layout but I still prefer Badlands for true desert golf experience. Great course but a bit pricey for my liking.

Played in shotgun tournament on 2/29. Course was in great shape and pace of play for tournament was great. Great layout with many risk and reward par 4's. Customer service was excellent. Tournament was well organized and for the price of 58 dollars with an excellent buffet and 2 hour open bar with great prizes an outright steal. They gave away memberships and 3 premium golf clubs for closest to the pin and long drive. If you ever see one of their shotgun tournaments do not hesitate, it was one of the best I have ever played in period!!!!!

Played on 2/25 in the afternoon. Course is in fair shape for this premium resort. Tee boxes were beat up and greens were like rocks cut too short i felt. Layout here is great a true desert course. No gimmicks just great choices off the tee boxes such as split fairways, doglegs, and risk and reward choices. Customer service was excellent including very friendly cart girl. If you play here in the afternoon expect the wind to blow and blow. Very challenging if it blows no blocking the wind out there in no mans land. Great course but i have seen it in better shape!!

played on perfect afternoon on 2/8 60+ degrees and very little wind. course was in great shape with perfect greens!! customer service as usual was great but they have changed the policy on free range balls you have to pay now!! practice area is best in area though so it is worth it! course has great layout with two different nines! front nine nicklaus design lots of bunkers back nine has more water and more character. great course and cheapest option in vegas area!!! especially for tourists same price as locals. go play!!

played course on 1/3 and it was in fabulous shape for this time of year. greens were fast but held excellently. only complaint was lack of sand in most bunkers which i found plenty!! great layout with imagination needed around the greens. great use of elevation changes and fabulous views of the strip and surrounding area! top 5 golf course in vegas i believe. only paid 59 dollars with local id which is incredible! friend from ny paid 150 dollars but still said it was worth every penny. highly recommended especially for locals right now for that price! play it now!!

played canyons on 1/2 around 1100 am. course was in great shape for this time of year and staff was very friendly! interesting layout with many elevation changes to challenge you. course is on the short side so do not be afraid to play from the tips. i wish they included yardage book for this course because some fairways you can hit good drive and get in trouble. so aim for the 150 yardage markers would be my advice!! got great rate on golfnow.com highly recommended!!

played mountain falls on 12/29. course was in good shape except for one green where the frost they get in pahrump was taking hold still ice on green!! otherwise though this course has great layout and great practice facility which is included in great rate. rates here are the same for tourists!! so if out of town this is your cheap alternative to ripoff las vegas golf courses!! always a fun round!!

played lakes course on 10/29 on a beautiful cool day. course has great layout with plenty of room to find fairways but challenging greens and approach shots. every level of player can play with 4 tee boxes. course was in good shape with fairways double cut looking beautiful. greens were good and very receptive primm does not have water problems you find in vegas. tee boxes could have been better maintained but this is nit picking. great course which i would recommend especially if you can find rate under 100 dollars i was on a comp from local radio station. service is very good as well and great veranda to have a cold beverage after the round over looking the 16th hole. green light for this course!!

played on august 13 on a hot hot day but with no wind until the 13 th hole. this course must be nearly unplayable in the wind. every hole is very beautiful but too tricked up for my taste. great elevation drops make club selection tricky and doglegs make playing this the first time very rough and tough. the par 3's are great especially the 3rd great hole not unplayable as some say just tough. the only disappointment were the practice area and the tee boxes. cannot hit driver or woods on practice area and tee boxes were in bad shape overall with a lot of slope!! played it once but will not again course extremely overrated for 25th best public course in golf digest!! i played tpc sawgrass this year and there is no comparison. i feel laughlin ranch in arizona is comparable if not better for a better price!!
