Course is in great shape right now as fairways are great. Greens are in good condition and fast overall. Only gripe is the slow play and lots of 5somes out. Current weekend fee is 49 to walk and 64 to ride, as the current listing here shows 64 to walk. A fun layout with many different types of holes. A great course to play if the pace wasn't so slow.

Great course to play overall. Greens and fairways are good for the most part, although there was one spongy section near the green that I plugged my ball half way down in, but other than that, was great. Quiet and peaceful out there in Moorpark. Pace was good and it is a good time to come here and play.

Played at twilight with a bunch of GK'ers in the LA Golf Group League. Course is fun with a neat layout. Greens rolled well and had some fun challenges with the speed. Fairways are in good shape, and seem to have more break in them than on the greens. Lots of good trouble to get into with many lakes and bunkers, which are nice and fluffy. Tee boxes are well kept. Lost a couple sleeves of balls here today. One sleeve lost on one par 3 hole, so bring a couple extra if you aren't too consistent here.

Fun little course. Lots of character here. Many intimidating tee shots to be had whether it was a good sized carry or tight fairway. Some landing areas are wider than they appear, while others are pretty tight and you pray to hit a rock to keep it in the fairway. Fairways were very good to me and seemed to be nice throughout the course. The fairway rough was generally good, with a few patchy or bare areas here and there, while greenside rough was groomed and decently fair to chip off of. I didn't hit any bunkers so can't comment on that. Tee boxes were also hit or miss. Some were good, some seemed like they just added new sod patches, but one of the par 3 ones was pretty angled and uneven. The greens were good for me. Speed was my style and rolled pretty true for my putts. Cart girl came around at least 4 times and very friendly. I'd play here more often if it was in my local proximity.
My main gripe is the lack of having a driving range. With these tighter courses, a warm up bucket would be very beneficial. The chipping area was a bit weak, with a very hard packed bunker. The practice putting green was similar to the course greens.
Great layout and scenery. Loved driving over the long wooden bridge. Definitely not a walkers course here with some long drives between the first few holes. Overall, a fun place to play, especially in a GK outing like today.

Was 1st group out at Twilight and finished in 3.5 hours. Course is in great condition from tee to green. Course layout and scenery is amazing. The greens are diabolical. No putt here is a gimme. Speed if crazy fast and always more break than you think. A beautiful course to splurge on if you get the chance.

Played in the GK July 2010 outing. Great course and layout, holes have some character to them. Good condition from tee to green, although rough is a bit tall in places and can be hard to find your ball at times. Bunkers have great sand, greens move quick and seem to have just a touch more break than they appear. Great times with the GK group and will be back here again.

Was 1st group out at 6:45 and finished in 3 hours without any rushing. Course is in pretty good shape, with exception of rough, which was very rough and very thick grass. From tee to green it is pretty nice and a very relaxing atmosphere. Some intimidating tee shots, as you have to blast on between 2 trees very close together or over them. 3 wood is great off many tees. Greens rolled pretty quick, but true. Fun place to check out once if you are in the area.

Nice short course, when it's not windy. There are many short par 4 holes that are driveable, that is if your driver goes straight. Not a tough course when the wind is down and pretty easy to walk most of it. A couple areas of water to lose a ball or 2, but you should be fine with just a sleeve. Conditions are pretty good, not spectacular like a private tournament course, but no major areas of concern that I saw. Practice putting green is much faster than the actual course greens, so don't practice too much on them before your round. Had a good time playing with 2 other GKers TonyBarrett and BobDaNinja.
