Played 12/28. Course was in great shape. Tee boxes were perfect. Fairways had a few thin spots but they were few and far between. Bunkers were a little thin but it was easy to adjust to the conditions. The only complaint was with the pace of play. I played in a threesome behind two threesomes. They were two holes behind on the fourth tee! Not a marshal to be seen. We made calls to the proshop to no avail. My group played through both groups at the turn and had free sailing until a marshal stopped us on the 14th hole and informed us we were two holes behind. After explaining the slow groups in front of us, the marshal said he was going to put groups in front of us to fill the gap. Naturally we complained which only caused this particular marshal to behave like a child. He intentionally drove up on us mid swing. We did have words. Can't wait to play the course again in the summer when no one, including useless marshals, won't be on the course.

Played 4-29. Course is in perfect shape. Tee boxes mostly smooth with a few with bare spots. Fairways and rough were in great shape. Greens are perfect. Medium speed and absolutely pure. Pace of play was really slow as the course always seems to have tournaments scheduled. Staff is always friendly mainly to compensate for the slow play. The summer rates should be kicking in soon and the snow birds will be gone. Great stop in the desert for SoCal locals.

Played 12-2 for the first time since the renovation. Great changes! Course will be familiar to all that played the old course but it's all new. Greens are fantastic. Santa Ana winds were howling in the valley but Ojai was breathless. Well worth the drive if the winds are blowing hard.

Played 4/27 and the course is perfect. Fast, Fast, Fast greens. Although we played in a medal play tournament the pace was excellent. Great course!

Great test from the tips. Local knowledge is a must to shoot good scores. As much fun as you can find in the valley.

Just played and loved it. Much more fun than the old course. What great changes. They turned it into a real golf course. As much fun as Rustic Canyon without the heat. It will take several rounds to figure out where to miss around the greens. Brilliant! A must play.

Hadn't played the course in at least 10 years. good to see it grew into itself.

Greens and fairways were punched last week so the course was a little beat up. Even if it was in immaculate condition it's not worth the high green fee. Great views, great service and great food. Kind of like playing golf at Disneyland with the manmade waterfalls. Go play it -- if it's on someone else's dime

Played Fri March 31. Course is in really good condition. Greens were nearly perfect. All ran consistantly fast and smooth. Maybe the best I've ever seen there. Play it before they aerate.
