Golf Course Reviews: California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Utah, Florida, Hawaii!Grossly overrated!!!
You can add this place to the list of major disappointments in Southern California. The greens are rock hard that putt incredibly slow. That is usually a recipe for an unpleasant expierence. Not to mention the ruts that are in many of them, as well as all the wasted space on them due the miniature golf effect. There is no putting or chipping green, temporary holes and greens and a cart girl who was so lazy that she wouldn't even get out of her cart to get my friend's drink. Oh yea, he had to get his own ice, as well.
It's true they are having the U.S. Open qualifier here. The only problem that it is the one for TENNIS!!! Those stuffed shirts must have owed Jack a favor to play this pig pen.

The previous poster must have been on crack if he thinks the 'greens rolled great'. Get a golf life!!! They were punched two weeks ago and the holes are still as big as manhole covers. In addition, the old jock in the proshop, who thought they 'putted straight' couldn't carry my clubs. He also was very defensive when I tried to reason with him about why don't you tell people when they call about the condition of the greens. His reply was "why say anything when they were done two weeks ago". In a word they 'stink'!!!!
Rumor has it, the name will soon be changed to "Mushall Canyon" . Had a time on Sunday morning and it was 40 minutes late. Once we got on the course, I knew why...wet all over the place and 4 groups waiting on number 3 tee box. If we had stayed...probably would not have finished...bordering on over 6 hours. Typical muni crowd with the "I Smoke Dope" t-shirts, knee high athletic socks under the jeans and the cast off clubs. Last time for me at a city/county course on the weekends, will pay the freight and play something without the beer and bong brigade!!!
I don't know what course you guys were playing. You have a better chance of holding an iron shot on I-210. The greens are harder than my last girlfriend's heart. This is links ping pong at its best. Unless you are into S&M golf...don't bother!!!
I have played this course three or four times at different times of the the year. This is "THE MOST OVER RATED, OVER PRICED PIECE OF JUNK IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA"!!! The construction makes it that much worse. Save your money and go play Soule Park about 2 miles away. Then, have dinner in the clubhouse when you are finished. The restaurant is ****.
