What can I say? I wish this course was closer to home. I'd play it EVERY round. The greens are absolutely awesome!!! If you regularly get on greens in regulation without birdies, stay away from here! You will be a bogey-to-double bogey machine. Lightning quick! The greens would be perfect if there wasn't some type of fungus killing them in places. Even despite, kudos to the super for maintaining the best greens in the county.

As for the rest of the course, I just love the set up! It's fair from tee to green. For the money, it's a true value! If you want to play golf on a course that offers challenge, yet fair, bring your bucks and your sticks and enjoy a round of great golf. You'll be back!!!

Played as a foursome on 12/28/10 at 8:15am. My first time playing Tiger Woods' high school home course. Right from the beginning the course was backed up due to high number of golf fiends out playing who had been unable to play due to five straight days of rain in SoCal. This was to be expected. The course was saturated and slow. This was to be expected too. The fairways were like the rough because the grounds crews were unable to cut due to heavy saturation. There were many areas on the fairways that were roped off because of standing water due to poor drainage. The rough was like a cornfield in July...HIGH! Still, I loved this course. It's a great course to play to get your confidence back. When the course dries up get ready for a nice layout that doesn't require you drive the ball like a pro to have a chance a birdie every hole!

Played today on $49 aeration special. I should have stayed home and played with my 2 year old daughter. The winds were gusting all day upto 40mph. My ball had a better chance of surviving Hurricane Katrina. There was no defense. I'm a 8 handicap and I looked like a 28 handicap. It was that bad.

Despite the greens being punched, they rolled pretty fast. When the greens heal watch out!!! The ball will roll with the slightest tap.

I had a few pars, one birdie and one eagle on the day (par 4, 8th hole); the bright spot for the day. I can't wait to go back and get my revenge.

Moral of the story: if the wind is gusting DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT PLAY HERE! Unless you enjoy being beat up by mother nature.

Course is in GREAT shape. Since being aerated approximately three weeks ago, the greens have slowed down a bit but are very true. The fairways are pretty lush and green. Service is awesome as well.
