First time Here. Pleasantly surprised. New ownership has put a lot of $ into the course.

Special $55 rate w/lunch was perfect.

Excellent customer service. Very welcoming and appreciative. That alone, will bring me back!!

3rd day of st george golf trip. Normally love the experience.

Wasn't thrilled about starting on #10. That was not disclosed when I made tee time.

Greens were good, but fairways were very dry and thin with a lot of ground under repair. Some awesome tee shots rolled through to water hazards. Short approach shots on short par 4s were made difficult by the dry firm conditions. Would have been better off laying back to full club distances.

Still a favorite course but we would have passed on the $100 rate given the conditions.

Good golf course, good condition, good prepaid summer rate.

Customer service could be better if you are paying a seasonal rate. Food and beverage customer service was awful. I know this is hurricane Utah, but I would rather spend my money where it is appreciated.

Beautiful challenging greens, other than that, nothing special. A good mix of really good holes with some quirky ones in between. I'm not a fan of the back to back par 5's on both sides.

Customer Service is non-existent.

Decent course.......at the right pricepoint!

Great value. Variety of different holes. Greens are a little slow but immaculate. I hear they are much faster in the summer months. Fairways, tee boxes and rough are hit or miss. Some are better than others. Holes 13 thru 18 is a nice stretch and will make or break your day.

Course plays longer than its yardage and at times and its difficulty can be more deceptive than it appears. Most missed approach shots to the greens leave manageable up and downs, which makes it a relaxing experience. Very laid back experience and staff and players are welcoming, friendly and courteous.

Never disappointed. 3 outstanding Pete Dye courses. One of my favorite facilities in Vegas.

All course are challenging but not unplayable. Plenty of scoring opportunities from somewhat generous landing areas. Plenty of risk reward opportunities for those that like to "gamble" a bit in vegas. Wolf is a little more difficult and can stretch to 7500 for those that dare.

Always in good shape from tee to green. Wind is most always a factor on the open desert layout. If you are fortunate to catch one of these courses on a calm day or with just a slight breeze then lady luck is on your side.

A lot of secluded holes only surrounded by the majestic scenery of the desert landscape.

Excellent practice facility for all parts of your game.

Can be a little pricey during peak season and it is about 30 miles from downtown.

A must play in Vegas. One of the best facilities in Vegas and will always be one of my favorites.

Pleasantly surprised.

First time here. I actually enjoyed this course. I like older courses. Not a long course but still had some character and charm about it. I wasn't sure what I was in for when the guy in the group in front of us was teeing off #1 in a tee shirt and wearing flip flops. They all sprayed it all over the place and very rarely saw them again. I was surprised at the pace as crowded as it was even with numerous people walking.

Greens were good. Fairways were so so. Good in some areas and bad in others. Rough was horrendous.

I would like to play it again when its in better shape. The guys we played with said they have heavy water restrictions in the summer, and it shows.

I would love to walk this course. It looks like it is perfect for walking.

Summer local rate was perfect.

Nice Layout. Enjoyable course. Elevated tee shots were cool.

Course a little dried out is some areas, although that probaly not a fair assessment considering that I am reviewing in summer time right before seasonal maintainance.
Greens were still excellent.

Just a little higher than avg. amount of walking between tees/greens and cart paths.

There is no turn after 9. Take what you need when you start

Very fun enjoyable course to play.

A lot of short par 4's, blind tee shots and plenty of changes in elevation.

Golf course conditions were above avg for this time of year with only a few dry patchy spots. Greens in excellent condition.

Warm friendly welcoming atmosphere.

Late summer rate was perfect.

Only negative. No Driving range.

Did not live up to its hype.

Don't get me wrong, very good course and very challenging and enjoyable to play. Front nine is much better than the back. Back nine seemed very bland. and short of extraordinary. I felt like I played 2 different courses. Front nine requires a lot of course management. Challenging to play for the first time without course knowledge or with someone that has been there before. Course layout card did not help very much and yardages did not seem accurate from the gold tees. I also spent a lot of time trying to figure out whether I was on the correct tee. Tee Markers were confusing . I wanted to play the gold tees. My markers were gold with a black emblem in the middle. I know from experience that some of the tougher courses will sneak your tees forward for pace of play. It took me a while to figure out that the black tees were not marked and were not in play. haha

A description of the hole and the best way to play it would of been very helpful. No GPS

Course was very dry and firm. Always had to consider if the ball would roll out from the dry conditions.

Rough was cut and not vaccumed or picked up. I actually lost a ball that just rolled outside of the fairway into 12 inches of cut grass clippings.

Greens are Bermuda with a ton of grain. Firm.... and slow.

Late summer rate was perfect, just a little disappointed I had to sacrifice a little quality for it.

Staff and customer service was excellent and professional.

Good golf course, just a bit short to be considered extraordinary.

Awesome course!! My favorite course in vegas......kinda. Not sure if its considered vegas considering it is 60 miles from downtown. 25 miles north on I15 and 25 miles N on Highway 93. The drive is its only downfall but well worth it for those that want to make the trek. You wont be disappointed.

I play mostly in the afternoons and they're is usually very few people there. I also play mostly in the summer months. Even during season it is rarely packed.

This is a very challenging course and can be very difficult depending on your lie in the fairways. If you are unlucky you can have uneven lies all day long from the fairways.

I paly it from the blue tees(6800yds.) which is perfect for me. If you are a long knocker you can test your game at 7500yd. Most of my friends play from the white tees at 6200yds. That is where I would recommend most golfers play from.

Most of the time wind is a factor. Club selection is critical. This course is built on a terrain with very gradual slope. It took me a few times to figure out that holes playing "west" require more club for the yardage.

The greens are very challenging. If you on are the wrong side of the hole or the wrong part of the green it will test all of your ability, no matter who you are. The greens are normaly fast and firm most of the times I have played here. When I played yesterday they were the softest Ive ever seen them. Im not sure why. One of the employees said the course was flooded a couple of weeks ago so that might of had something to do with it. The greens appeared to be top dressed with some sand. They still rolled very good but they were slower and softer than normal which made the course a little easier.

I believe that they also have a free replay for the die hards.

Excellent practice facilty!!!! Unlimited balls. Turf is perfect. Practice balls are in good shape with many target greens to choose from.

Just a note. There is NO cell service out there! I could care less but I know that could be an important factor for some, especially if you are in vegas on "business". I know if you are going to call in sick to that corporate function you may need access to cell service. haha

This is a fantastic course and very challenging and very enjoyable to play for those that are willing to make the drive.
