I PLAYED ON SUNDAY 3/5/06. GOT AN EARLY ENOUGH STARTING TIME THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THIS COURSE ATTRACTS EVERY BEGINNER AND WANNA BE IN THE CITY. WE GOT BEHIND A GROUP OF PLAYERS THAT HAD TO BE TRYING TO PLAY SLOW AND THE MARSHAL WAS COMING TO THEIR DEFENSE AND TRYING TO TELL US THAT HE COULDN'T DO ANYTHING. IF THAT'S THE CASE WHY HAVE THESE GUYS OUT THERE! THESE GUYS WERE SO SLOW THAT WHEN WE GOT TO THE NINTH HOLE THE MARSHAL FINALLY TALKED THEM INTO LETING US PLAY THROUGH. GOOD THING , BECAUSE WHEN WE FINALLY CAUGHT UP WITH THE GROUP IN FRON OF US WE WERE TWO AND A HALF HOLES AHEAD OF THOSE BUTT HEADS. THIS COURSE IS NOT IN THAT GREAT OF SHAPE THAT ANYONE SHOULD HAVE TO PUT UP WITH THE TYPE OF PLAY THAT THESE GUYS EXHIBITED AHEAD OF US. GREENS WERE OKAY THE REST OF THE COURSE WAS JUNK, I GUESS MY PERSPECTIVE IS MUDDIED BY THE GROUP OF NUCKLEHEADS THAT THOUGHT THAT THEY HAD A RIGHT TO PLAY AS SLOW AS THEY DID. THEY ACCUSED US OF BEING RUDE, WELL IT'S RUDE TO NOT PLAY READY GOLF.

Played with some local scratch players that liked to play from the tips. The course is a muni and plays like a muni, flat and pretty straight forward, I can see why those guys wanted to play from the tips otherwise there is no challenge. Even I could reach some of the par fives in two and I'm not a long ball hitter, one of the long hitters was driver and nine iron to the shortest par five, I couldn't figure how long the hole was because we played from the tips and the yardage was different from the card but it was under 500 . All in all I enjoyed the round for what it was less expensive than a resort course and close to where I was staying(downtown). But the Greens weren't too good and it's still a muni and I don't think I will be going back soon especially if I can get some deals at a resort course.

Course was in fair condition, considering there was a football game the night before. Greens were bumpy and there was a flea market at the Rose Bowl and was very noisy. Not really worht the green fee since out of towners (non-Pasadena residents) pay alot more than residents.

FAIRWAYS WERE TORN UP WITH CARTS DRIVING THROUGH SOAKED AREAS. MUCH MUD AND VERY SOFT FAIRWAYS. GREENS WERE IN FAIR CONDITION BUT TEE BOXES WERE AERATED AND STILL NOT LEVEL IN ANY PLACE.

I played this course at twilight rate and it was more than worth it, also played the back tees and found it playable. The course doesn't play near as long as the yardage because of the elevation drops.

This is well worth playing. Green fees are reasonable even for out of towners and the course is always in good condition.
