Out early and done in 3 H walking. Tee boxes were just fine. Course has been allowed to dry out some, so good fairways with roll and good lies. Rough has been cut down so no issues. The traps had been cleaned and turned so they were playable (of course no rakes) and heard no complaints. Greens had all been mowed and putted great with decent speed. They chipped and held shots very well and were clean of divots. $16 to walk with Sr card. Customer service was excellent at all levels. They even had a BBQ and bar open outside of the clubhouse on the new remodeled patio dining area, ready for early AM cocktails and lunch later. Very impressed with Casper Golf management of this course. Masks at check in at driving range booth. Picking up carts. Still no walk up play. Only online or phone reservations.

Played this AM. Nice 3 H POP. Course is holding its own during the current heat wave. Lots of water on the course. So you get little roll out but good lies. Tee boxes are in decent shape as they are moving them around and allowing regrowth in beat up areas. Did not visit any bunkers but they looked playable for the early AM players (and of course no rakes). Rough was up and sticky as it was still wet. Greens were very good. Though the front were damp (so slow) and had not been mowed. Back 9 they had been mowed and rolled really well. I believe this course is in better shape these days with the new management group. And it is a great course to walk. Excellent customer service. Of course masks at check in and cart pickup. Not on the course.

I haven't played this course in over 5 years. It's a good ego boost track, because it's short (5290-Blue) with short, so approach is easier. Tee boxes are in good to some fair condition. The fairway have some hard pan dry spots. The rough is good and playable for approach shots. Bunkers look good, lucky me, I didn't have to play out of any. Several holes seem short(par 4), so 2nd shots under 100 yards was common. The greens are in good condition, but seem med-slow. Since practice greens are closed, it will take a few holes to get a feel of strong putts to reach the cup. Overall okay.

Played this AM in nice POP of 3 H walking. Course is in good shape given the heat we have had in the area. Tee boxes for the most part were OK. Some better than others. Course was heavily watered, so fairways though green for the most part (some brown areas showing) had no roll. But the lies were very good. Very little rough to deal with at all. Traps were not in good shape on all holes. Greens were all mowed and clean. They chipped, putted and held shots just fine. Still need to book online for tee times. No walk up yet. Range open. Pro shop closed. Restaurant is open for take out only (thurs - Sun). Masks at check in, first tee, between 9 and 10. Not necessary on course. 1 per cart unless family. Customer service excellent at all levels.

With a buddy and a single, we went out for a late Friday 4:50 start to see what we could get in. It helped that they let us go early, so actually more like 4:35. Overall conditions were nice. Tee boxes were generally flat with coverage but you had to pick your spots on the more sparsely covered par-3s. Fairways were pretty good overall with the occasional dry or thin patch you will find at this time of year. I had a couple of tight lies close to dirt, but I managed to play them well and was happy with the more general fairway conditions. Rough was mostly green and playable with some variance between more juicy and bare spots — pretty normal. Area around greens was good for chipping and all three of us had reasonable or better success playing out of the bunkers, so they were pretty decently firm, not hard and not overly disheveled. Greens were pretty clean, always with some subtle breaks, and running medium quick — nice to play on. We had no one in front of us and a line up behind us after the second hole, moving along unhindered until we caught up to the herd at the the 7th. Thereafter it was slower but steady. I had to cut out after 13 and my guess is that the remains of out group would've made it through 16. Since we knew going out that 18 was not assured and probably far from likely, I was OK cutting out but had to leave on a 5-par streak. It was a nice time of day to be on the course and a really pleasant experience while it lasted. No short game or putting open, but the driving range is. Finally, a shout out to the customer service here. They are unfailingly pleasant, seem to care about what they are doing and that you enjoy your experience.

Fairways were green (though wet) and provided good lies but no roll. Rough has been virtually eliminated. Traps were all playable at that time of the morning. Greens were in great shape but putted slow, even after they had been cut. Customer service excellent. Still need to register online for tee time. Pro shop and restaurant still closed.

Played this AM in 2.5 H and walked. Course is really empty early AM as it appears more and more have gone back to work (great). Pro shop still not open and neither is the restaurant? Check in still at the driving range office. Some walk in allowed later in the afternoon. But tee time online is preferred. Course was still in good shape but drying out in some fairways and tee boxes are noticeable. Rough was about an inch and sticky. Traps all playable early in the AM but no rakes to repair. Greens in good shape for chipping, putting and holding shots. Great customer service at all levels. For $15 Sr rate it is a steal. Hope they open the restaurant soon, as the food and prices are some of the best (well they use to be LOL).

Traps were in better condition this week (still no rakes). Greens were faster this week IMO. Pro shop still closed. Masks at check in only. No walk up play yet, only reservations. Restaurant still not open, even though they can in LA county. Good customer service.

Played this AM. Totally quite? Guess many people went back to work. Was able to get out almost 30 minutes early and only saw one person in front of me. I walked he was in a cart so no issues. POP 2.5 H. Tee boxes all clean and playable. Fairways were lush/green and provided decent roll and excellent lies. Traps were a mixture of good/bad, but what traps aren't like that these days at most courses. Some rough outside of fairways and it was tough to play out of. Greens were excellent. Chipped/putted, held shots all round and had good speed. Excellent customer service. Restaurant is only open for takeout on weekends.
