I play Wilson and Harding regularly. Wilson greens have been aerated and sanded. The course overall is in its usual great condition otherwise. Played Harding earlier in the day, greens are in good to great condition while healing, course in its normal very good to great condition.

Played here yesterday. Greens were recently punched (approximately 2-3 weeks) by the look of the conditions of the greens. Ball rolls med/fast and will not stay online. Hit and hope is what we were saying. Give greens about another week to recover. Fairways are green -- the use recycled water. Bunkers are OK, hard but playable. Rough is thick and sticky. Tee boxes are flat for the most part.

Pace of play was TERRIBLE. 5 hours to play 18 holes. Groups were stacked up on 10 (4 deep) Pace of play after this hole sped up considerably. For the front 9 it was hit and wait for a good portion of the day.

Play here again? Not as a single and riding -- they charge extra for a single rider. Bring a friend and try to get out before 11am is my advice.

Met a friend for an 8:48 tee time. When we checked it the first tee was open and we were sent out a little earlier along with a couple of singles. Pace was good at about 4.5 hrs. With all due respect to the previous two reviews, the criticisms seemed a bit more about pace and the behavior of other golfers (and gnats) than the course conditions. On this day the pace was pretty decent, the golfers were behaving themselves, and the gnats were in evidence and mildly disruptive only a few of occasions. I'll be very brief and just say that the actual course conditions were solid in every aspect. Because it's a muni, the cast of characters and resultant experience is going to change daily, but the course itself is a pretty nice one as they go.

When did 20 plus handicappers start playing the back tees??? Just because you paid your green fees does mean you should be playing the back tees - get on the white or gold tees. Although this is a city course, players need to rake the bunkers, fix divots and learn golf etiquette - let everyone enjoy their golfing experience

Played Saturday 6/28, single. arrived at 5:40, was able to tee off just before 6am. POP just under 4 hrs walking as a foursome. the first few holes on this course is just not conducive to quick play. #1 green is so sloped and groups take a long time to hole out, #2 is that blind tee shot over the hill that slows play. #3 is a 190yd uphill par 3 that is tough, and #4 is the tough short tee shot. golf had been open for 30 minutes, and we are waiting on every hole for the first 4 holes. no wonder it gets backed up during the day. that being said, course is in very good shape. greens are nice, moderate speed (9-10 stimp), fairways are decent. i hate the gnats for the first 90 minutes that swarm you. but a great time overall.

Hit Wilson for the first time on Sunday afternoon, 6/22, around 1:00. Called first to see about the wait, told it was wide open and… so it was. Immediately after checking in and paying my fee, I was on the first tee with a two-some—all of us walking. I don't know what normal is for weekend traffic at Wilson and wonder if the World Cup made a difference, but we got around in about four hours. In a nutshell the conditions were good all around. Tee boxes generally flat with plenty of coverage, fairways also very green and offering good lies most often, rough could cost you, bunkers were good sand and generally kept up, and the greens were rolling pretty true at medium quick. They were receptive, leaving a good sized ball mark, but the marks repaired easily, and I saw very few that had been left without being dealt with. It's an expansive course with some length to it and fairways generally on the wide side. Not too much in the way of hazards. Other than the self-inflicted wound of my score, I had no complaints and enjoyed the round. At some point, I'll make a return trip and try to redeem myself.

I played Wilson during a tournament. The tee boxes were mostly flat , with lots of grass and fairly well kept. The fairways were dry in some areas but there was plenty of grass on them and most lies were decent. The greens were medium to fast and rolled reasonably true. The rough is very inconsistent, with some bare spots and dirt lies. The biggest problem was the 5 and a half hour round, but we teed off at noon, so this was not unexpected. Wilson is a beautiful, classic golf course , with many mature trees, and it was a very fair test of golf. And as an added bonus, there are over a dozen deer that roam the course and which can sometimes interfere with play. I really like this course overall and will play it again and again.
