While relatively inexpensive for the area, its worth is more towards a weekend afternoon price. Not a long course by any means. Pace of play for weekend early AM was 4:15. Most tee boxes are in ok condition, some really beat up. Fairways (about 80%) are in good shape. Greens we're most well maintained part of course, but for whatever reason played fairly slow and don't have many subtle breaks. The areas around some greens or a few feet off some fairways were not in great shape. Hitting through power lines (in play from the tee box on multiple holes) is outright weird and heard at least two people hit them during our round. Traps are consistent throughout the course and are well taken care of. Layout has a ton of potential, and for the ~$70 price tag it's not a bad option, but there are other courses in the area in better shape for under $100.

5/22 using teeoff deal time with 20% off for net $27. really good rate for this course. Had 1015 tee time -but starter Jim got us off about 945--paired with a nice compatible husband and wife Bob and Thelma--good thing we got along because we were out there together for nearly 5 hours--we noticed a pretty steady line up of golfers but there was a 4some 3some 4some right ahead that seemed to take turns running into issues so basically we waited every shot--good news was that the 4some behind us never caught up so if we were in our original time slot I am sure it would have been over 5 hours.
Fairways were quite good nicely mowed --firm but good cushion and decent lies overall. Rough cut to about 1-2 inches with some longer patches around greens or on slopes--effective at impeding the ball but not too penal for extraction.
Bunkers were groomed but some still exhibited the effect of being overly wet as the sand even having been groomed was packed and firm. Areas with out the moisture were a lot more playable.
Tees level generally with good enough cover-par 3s had divots but most had been filled with a nice mix of seed/sand/compost.
Greens fairly smooth medium fast with good consistency--not quite as fast or as smooth overall as the practice green. Topography does influence the break here--not a lot of undulation or tiers except for 12.
Driving range has mats with nice cushion--large putting green and a chip/pitch green with a practice bunker.
Staff is very friendly and welcoming--service cart making the rounds--marshal out and about chatty but not concerned about POP.
Course has considerable variety with elevation changes-- severe doglegs--mix of wide and tight fairways--short and long holes--all enough to keep you on your toes. Well worth giving it a try.

Played Anaheim Hills Friday May 12th Blues, Had a 7:35 tee time, left my house in Norco at 5:30 for breakfast at the course by 6am, Got to the course at 7:12 thanks to the idiot drivers on the 91 freeway. 1 hour and 42 minute drive. Well needless to say, no breakfast and I was so ampted up from the drive I golfed the worse I have it 15 months. As for the course, $41 senior was good, we got out on time and the course was in good shape, tee boxes good, fairways green and lush, was not in any bunkers. The greens were slower than they looked and I was short on all my putts all day. I only hit about 4 good shots all day. My attitude from that drive really ruined my day. I really do not like it when my OFG group decides to play in O.C. and I have to do that 91 freeway. Oh well....

5/3 from the blues(6142 70.7/123) using teeoff deal time with extra discount $29 on a nifty warmish am 950 tee time but starter sent us out quickly after smooth check in(arrived early in case traffic was an issue) so on course by 900 with a POP of just under 4 hours with a little wait on most holes.
Course is host to day one(Saturday) of the city championship so preparations are under way.
Bunkers look to have been consistently groomed--found one greenside felt soft with my stance but at the bottom where my ball was sand was a little thin and base was rather wet dirt.
Tees are mostly level with most having good cover--some areas look rather over-used which is difficult to avoid as many tee boxes are on the smaller side so marker placement is limited.
Fairways have ample cover and good cushion with still a fair amount of roll--there are some thin/bare areas that were not yet marked GUR. Also because the ground is generally on the softer side divots are often of crater size--many left unfilled--there were some areas that appeared to be used for practice shots as there were 3-4 similar divots at that spot. Never landed in an unfilled ones but did end up in 2 that were not fully healed.
Rough is rather inconsistent at times thinner and on the dry side and at others longer and wetter--areas around the greens tended to be the most dense. Definitely impeded forward momentum and depending on the individual lie added several degrees of difficulty to the shot.
Greens are in good shape--generally smooth rolling medium fast--not as quick as the practice green however. Tended to be on the softer side and were very receptive to full shots.
Proshop staff friendly and welcoming--big shout out to Mike the starter who really understands golfer friendly flow management to provide the opportunity to use open tee times to start early if preferred.

Played a twilight round with a buddy yesterday 4/27. Course was wide open and pace of play was about 3.5 hours. Overall the condition of the course was great. Greens have healed nicely with only a couple showing some marks towards the edges. Rough was thick and tough to play out of but the fairways were in good shape. A few had some thin spots as you got closer to the greens. The 1 bunker I was in (greenside) was thin but had nice sand and was playable. Tee boxes (blues) were pretty level and had good coverage except for 2...holes 11 and 17. Hole 11 was like teeing off on top of a hill and 17 was riddled with divots. Overall fun course, challenging layout and quick round.

Played this course in the AM...first group out. Overall impression is that this course is a great little track. Starter gave us some pointers as this was our first time here and they definitely helped..super nice guy named Jim.

Greens - 8/10. Rolled nicely, only reason I won't go higher is a few of them were inconsistent on speed, and a few had some leftover ball marks that any maintenance guy could have walked and fixed. Overall though, they were great.

Boxes - 7/10. In general they were solid. Few were on uneven lies so that's why I knocked it down a couple ticks. Ground was hard on a couple but I don't think thats the courses fault but when it's hard to stick your tee in the ground it becomes the problem.

Fairways - 8/10. Also solid in a general sense. Once I finally got going and found a few fairways, they were soft and green. Only one was a little thin which I don't think was too much of a problem.

Rough - 7/10. Definitely longer than the fairway grass but not too punishing. Rated down a couple spots due to some bare spots that could have been addressed.

Sand - 7/10. I'll rank this based on the 1 bunker that I was in....sand was fluffy...too soft for me but definitely playable nonetheless.

I played yesterday, 1-14-17, with a Meet-up group. The weather was just perfect and the staff friendly as always. The course was in really good condition except for the expected mud after the rains. The tee boxes were all perfectly level, cut short and free of divots. The greens were smooth and medium speed. Being fairly soft, ball marks were really deep, but fortunately there weren’t very many to repair. The fairways had great coverage but lots of deep squishy, slippery areas. Due to being cart-path- only, we were able to finish only 14 holes in 5 hours. I’ll be back again soon.

I played here yesterday, 10-30-16, in a 32 player scramble with 2 combined Meet-up groups. It was about 3 years since I’d last played here and, honestly, I didn’t have very fond memories. I had enjoyed the layout but it had been a hot, muggy, very buggy summer day. The conditions couldn’t have been more different yesterday. The weather was cool and lightly rainy for a good part of the day. Our group became quite disorganized due to several last minute dropouts, but the guys in the pro shop and the starter handled the chaos wonderfully and were all very friendly and efficient.

The course conditions were really nice. The fairways were lush and beautifully green with only an occasional thin spot. There were plenty of wet, squishy areas due to the rain, but no one seemed to mind. The tee boxes were mostly all level but all the new grass was in need of mowing. Luckily we didn’t have any bunker shots. There was plenty of nice looking sand but muddy from the rain. The greens were extremely soft creating huge marks but putts rolled smoothly. Everyone in front of us was diligent in fixing their ball marks as we never had to fix any but our own. POP was about 4.5 hrs.

One negative that comes to mind is not having GPS on the carts. The course has a great variety of holes but there are some really weird/fun doglegs and blind shots where it would be very helpful to have a better idea where you need to hit. Another is the cart path along #15 has some terribly spine-jarring cracks which weren’t noticed thru the rain-splattered windshield. I hope they can repair those soon.

Most of the group stayed after for food and drinks. The bartender, doubling as food order taker/server, did a fabulous job of keeping up with everything and the food was good. The course is pretty close by and I would enjoy playing it again.

Played Friday Oct 14th tee time 7:46. Got off 10 minutes early. Starter was cool and friendly. Cool day ball was not flying far. Actually nice for a change here in So Cal. POP was 4:25 and this is because we were waiting on the 4some in front of us on every hole, and the bad part is they were part of our group of six. Man we need to get the guy that organizes this to put us in front of them, LOL. Not much run in the fairways as they were wet. The greens need about 2 more weeks and they will be good. I thought they were a little slow and you could tell they were longer grass and they did not cut them because they wanted them to recover. Was in one green side bucker, sand was wet and very thin, hit mud 1/2" below sand. I was lucky I was not in any more traps. They really had the course shortened up today, many of the tee were grouped together on the tee box, red, whites and blue all together all in front of the red tee boxes. Then on a few holes they actually had the blue tee on the blue marker, Really could not get a feel of what they were thinking. The fairways and rough were fine, In good shape and very fair. The greens as stated were a little slow and sometimes bumpy, you could tell they did not mow them and tried to let them heal. Another 2 week and they will be fine. Actually shot my lowest score 89 at this course so I have to be happy.
