The course is in an average state right now. Greens are pretty good. They were slightly bumpy at times & relatively slow. Fairways were OK. Bunkers have a lot of sand in them. Overall, this place has been better & worse. The $53 green fee with cart is a bit high. Better deals can be found.

Played Thursday, March 11. I was pleasantly surprised at how much the conditions have improved from three years ago when I last played the course. The greens are in great condition. The greens are the challenge of the course. Several greens have quite a bit of undulation. The fairways were in good shape, vastly improved from the last time I played the course. The tee boxes and rough are also in good condition. The bunkers have plenty of sand in them but the faces have too much. A ball can easily plug in the face of the bunkers. Now that the conditions have improved so much I will play the course more often. The staff was pleasant. The club house and grill are nice.

Played in the shotgun today, everything good, but the new sand in bunkers very soft leading to some fried eggs.

pro shop was cordial. the starter didn't call my name and almost missed my teetime. tee boxes were fine lush and little divots and even. fairways were ok with some areas a little thin. greens were good smooth and good roll, medium to fast. bunkers were ok, the sand was a little hard packed for my liking. pace was ok, finish in 5 hrs plus. experience ok.

I played 2/20 on saturday afternoon at twilite time. Good thing about this course is right now twilite starts at 12 rather than 12:30 like Miles.

I played 2/20 on saturday afternoon at twilite time. Good thing about this course is right now twilite starts at 12 rather than 12:30 like Miles.
This course was surprisngly empty, had a 12:22 tee time but coulda gotten off much earlier. Maybe cause of the rain in the morning. Course had no real wet areas from rain very dry and playable. This course can be a pain if they decide to put some of the pin positions in diffcult locations, which they did. Ive never played this course in under 5 hours and probably finished today at around 4 hours 45 minutes. not bad.
Wind was a problem throughout the day but good thing this course isnt really too long.
Bunkers were like beach sand and plugged very easily. Coming back this saturday cause got another good twilite time.

got a teetime online for 1230 on 2/3. pro shop was courteous. starter got me out a little early although he forgot to include me when he called for the group i was paired with. only by luck did i not miss teeing off cuz i happen to check with the starter just as the last guy was teeing off. tee boxes were in good shape, lush/even. the fairways were also lush. the bunkers will need improvement. although they were raked/not hollowed out, the sand was more like gravel. you walk into the bunker and leave barely visible footprints. the greens were great. very smooth roll and lightning fast. finished round in 5 plus hrs. good outing, on a nice day.

Maybe I just kept leaving myself on the wrong side of the hole, or maybe the greens are a lot more difficult than I remember. In any event, everyone in our group struggled with the greens. Course played tougher than I recall. (A 5+ hour hour didn't help keeping focus. I enjoyed the course, but slow pace sure put a damper on things, otherwise the course was in decent condition and presents a nice challenge.
