Course is in good shape. All the tee boxes have always been fairly level, not many divots today. Most of the back tees are being replaced, new sod on all of them, mostly the Black and Blue tee markers. 7:20 Tee Time, finished in 4 hrs. Fairways were lush, front nine had not been cut, therefore ball did not roll, and hard to get good distances with grass between ball and clubface. Back nine was cut, much better roll and lie. All the greens were damp, and slow. Not many ball marks. Most of the bunkers were damp sand, although some had dirt and pebbles mixed in. Maybe they used construction sand to fill them? marshalls were out, but no slow groups, it could have played maybe 1/2 hr faster, but pace was OK. $30 green fee with senior rate and Red Dot coupon, well worth the fee.

Hey it's winter, I know and the cold wather has really taken it's toll on the courses, but even factoring that in, this course appears to be getting in worse condition every time I play it. The greens were really slow, lots of suspect areas in the fairways. Course just needs some TLC, and soon.

Played at 7:45am on Sunday before the Super Bowl. We got off to a slow start (about 10 minutes late) and the pace was a bit slow on the first 2-3 holes. It picked up nicely after that and we finished in about 4.5 hours.

The fairways are in very good condition. Very few brown spots considering the winter we've had in So Cal. The greens need work as many of them had ball marks galore. They're extremely slow and your ball will change directions multiple times simply due to the number of "divots" on the green. As mentioned by other reviewers, this is a very narrow track. If you are not on your game, expect to hit several shots OB.

It's not worth the regular green fee, but if you find a discount online, it's not a bad deal.

played here today, feb 1st. we teed off at 11:07, and for some reason they were letting the sprinklers run while we were palying for the first two holes and that didn't help the already slow pace of play. we ended up finishing our round at 5:10. also, on one hole we got too close to the green with the cart (our fault, shoudln't have done that) but a man came down from another tee box saying he was the head general manager. we told him that we were sorry and that we didn't even go on the green but we had no choice because we didn't want to drive backwards. we shoudnt' have been near there but he was very rude. also, i don't understand why he is out playing golf instead of doing somehting about the pace of play, or the sprinklrse, or about the dying and slow greens on his course.

I just played westridge with another GK member pandaxshin. the course was not in bad shape, some ground under repair here and there and the greens were a little bit bumpy but playable. the worst part was that just because itw as a nice day the starters decided to let groups out in intervals of four minutes or something crazy. the course was so backed up and the rude players behind us asking to play through didn't help. way too crowded but ok course if you are willing to wait for 6 hours.

I played Westridge on 1/21, and considering the Winter season, the fairways were green, the greens were smooth, and the pace of play was reasonable; however, the one thing that really irritated me were the conditions of the tee boxes, too many divots and hard to find a spot that's evenly balanced. Overall, the conditions of the course is in better shape than the majority of the courses I played during the Winter season.

Played on 12/26 - Course is in excellent condition and has definitely made a turn for the better. I have always enjoyed the course layout as it provides a great variety and now with the maintenance they have put into the course it is worth a look. There are some great views from many of the tee boxes as well. The course is not exceptionally long but you do need to keep it in the fairway as your ball will be a goner otherwise. The greens are very fast but firm so they will not hold approach shots so well... make sure you club down 1 and then let the ball roll up to the pin. I found a couple of fairway sand traps to be thin layers of dirt instead of sand and some had rather large pebbles/rocks in them as well. I highly suggest using the terrain to your advantage by hitting towards the hill side of the fairways and then letting the ball roll down towards the center of the fairway (especially on the front 9). The round took close to 5 hours but it did open up after the first couple of holes. Do yourself a favor and give the course a try as it truly has improved.

Played 12/23/06, teed off at 11:00am. Okay, the last time I played here in July, this place was dying right before my eyes. I was very critical and vowed not to play until things started to change with course maintenance. So my friend said he played here last month and things were no where near what I described. He invited me out again to prove that things have changed. So I checked the feedback here and it sounded like things have changed. I was still a little skeptical at first but things have really made a 180. No bare spots on the greens anywhere! Quite a few ball marks still but that's not the courses fault. Bunkers had plenty of sand and tee boxes were great. Some bare spots left in the fairways but still nothing near 6 months ago. Greens were a little slow due to the rain yesterday and softer then I expected. I would definitely play this course again and more often. I am glad my boycott finally produced some changes. I wished it was that easy, but I am glad to see that this course is regaining it original form.
