This is the best condition I have seen this course in years....from the tee boxes, fairways, bunkers, and greens. Greens could be rolled and cut closer. The new owners have made a major effort in turning this course around. All that is left is re-doing and upgrading the restrooms and maybe getting some more high end and larger selection of clubs and clothes in the Club House. Definitely worth the $$!

course is in pretty good shape..only complaint is ground crews were changing pin placements and tee markers just in front of us while we were in a tournament!!! Thats just incredible!! They had no clue...the old no speak english...but the staff should know better. That made closest to the pin and long drive holes unfair with changing pin and tee boxes!!!

The maintenance staff is clueless at this golf course. Several groups in our tournament were interrupted by the grounds crew by changing holes, tee markers, and not paying attention when driving their cart while groups are trying to tee off. I would not pay full price here at all. There are too many very short 100-140 yard par 3's. The greens are more like what you would see at a 25 dollar course. The food after the tournament was very good.

Played 5/8 6:50 tee time, got out at 7 AM. Course was in great shape tee to green. Very few divots on the tee boxes and on fairways. The greens were slow to med-fast, held shots but rolled slow. 3h45... Continue »

Played 5/8 6:50 tee time, got out at 7 AM. Course was in great shape tee to green. Very few divots on the tee boxes and on fairways. The greens were slow to med-fast, held shots but rolled slow. 3h45m round, pace was exellent. Single ahead of us that left us in the dust, we caught up with him on the 15th, he hooked up with another single, and a foursome was ahead of them. There were a lot of singles and twosomes out this morning. Were getting ready for a tournament later that afternoon.

Play this course 4/21/2007 and Love it!!!!!!!!!!!! I have played at over 75 courses so far in my life and this one in California is going to be one of my favorites. I live here now. I have just been playing golf for the last five yr's and I am a 16 handicap. I play ike, robinson ranch, los serranos etc, alot of hard courses. This one's slope on the blue tee's was 132 where you have a lot of uphills drives Fairways are just wide enough to make you bring out your A game. greens breaks a lot of different ways and you must know how to putt to score well. We tee off at 8 :30am and finsh at 1:15 pm, not bad for a Saturday where most places take about 5 1/2 - 6 hrs to play. Pace pick up after the 6 hole. I had good deal to play here. It is worth it to play here if you can afford it. My friends and I are going back to play here during the wk.

4/8 Course is in good shape. They punched the greens on 4/2, so they are still growing in. There were some damp areas, but nothing that change the feel of the round or the course. Pace was a little slow, but at least there was no back up on the tee box and you could keep a rhythm. The course plays pretty short from the whites as they had moved the box up on a couple of the par 3’s leaving about 115 to the hole. Course has no flat lies. Good 2” rough.

Played yesterday in approx 4.5 hours teeing off at 7:30am. The course seems to be rounding out nicely. Always a pleasure to play this course and you can tell they are working on improving the playing conditions. The greens had quite a few unrepaired ball marks which made some putts bounce and the greenskeeper must have had a bad night because the pin placements were quite challenging. The worst one was on the 1st par 5 on the back 9. We sat in the fairway watching the group in front of us yo yo the ball back and forth 3 times each before making it into the cup. The ball literally would roll right back to them down the hill if they didn't make it. The fairways looked to be getting some freshening as the scent of cow manure was scattered throughout most fairways and they had also recently been plugged as there was chunks of dirt from the recent aeration on most fairways... it wasn't so bad that the lies were unplayable though. The rough is rather lush in most places. The greens did not hold shots well even though they are on the slower side and dampened by the recent rains. I love the layout and some great views on several holes. I'll BE BACK!!!
