Played this AM (cold but warmed up nicely). Glad to state that the course is in playable condition once again. I did not have any issues with tee boxes nor heard any complaints. Fairways had good coverage (few bad spots remain but I only saw them but did not hit any) and they rolled out great all round. Traps were all playable (with rakes though some do not know how to use them) and they are filling them in with new white/fluffy sand. Several holes on the front had it in them and the one I landed in played just great (looks great and will be a great addition). Greens were very good all round. Held shots, released shots, chipped/putted nicely and had decent speed (IMO about 8) and never heard any complaints. I have no problem recommending the course at this time. The only issue I have and I voiced it with Mike the starter. If you want to play early or you want to be 1st or 2nd off, then play like you know what the hell you are doing. Don't back up the course or get a later starting time. Mike will take your call from the course if you experience this and will send someone out. We certainly will return sooner vs later if these conditions persist. And I think $49 is a fair price for seniors for this course. Just noticed this - Aeration of the greens 10/18 - 10/31 (nine holes per week). Glad we played when we did.

Midday tee time at WGC place was very busy and well organized. Played the blue tees and quite a few were crowned with little grass to hit off of. Fairways and rough were thin with a lot of run to the ESA sides of fairways. Greens were bumpy and all had unfixed divots fixed four or five per hole and could have done more. Bunkers were very wet with compacted sand. Water hazard on 16,17 and 18 have little water in it and is really visually unappealing. POP was a little over four hours and never had to wait on a shot. Really like the layout of the course and hope conditions improve.

Played 7/15/2021, I had to literally move my ball on many holes to a decent spot in the fairways. It appears the front nine fairways, certain tees and greens have some sort of heat-related disease. It's too bad because the course was in much better shape just a few months ago. I definitely would rate it a 4.0. I like the course and will play it again because it is a good test of golf forcing a player to use a range of shots to score well.

Wow ! What happened ? Played here a couple months ago, and the course is nothing like it was then. Where do I begin ? The greens were very thin, with a small amount of residual sand on them. Very little actual grass on many of them. Speed was inconsistent. The fairways, particularly on the front nine were awful. Better on the back, but still not good. Rough was so-so. Bunkers: some had sand, some had hard packed sand. None were raked. The staff was great. Pro shop opened early which was appreciated since we had a 5:32am tee time and people were pouring in. Thanks to the starter Mike for getting us out first a bit before our time. As always, ran into back nine play on #10, so had to skip that holes as two groups were on the hole when we arrived. Then didn't catch anyone else until #18. Sad that they no longer have senior rates here. No sure how much more often I will play here until things improve.

Staff is always friendly here and very accommodating. Fun course, so long as you get out early.

Played today under cloudy skies. Not cold but would have enjoyed warmer. Found the course in good shape and getting better week to week. All tee boxes were playable. Fairways are getting greener and filling in and provided good lies and really nice roll (especially if you draw it). Found very little rough and what we did find was playable. I have said before. I do not like the traps here. I feel the sand they used is not really the best. They really need improving. Greens were in great shape for chipping and putting. And they had good speed and held good high shots and sent the ball flying on low ones. Easy fast check in in shop and with carts. Appears only the snack bar is open at present. For $49 Sr rate (with cart) well worth it.

Played today. Out early with a 3.5 H POP. Greens are healing from being cross cut. Most of what was evident on 3/23 is barely noticeable. But its interesting as on GK it states May 2-5 aeration. Guess the small cuts made 3/23 are just a preview of what's to come. In any event the greens chipped/putted well but with medium speed. Fairways had good coverage and much better roll out since previous visit. No issues with the tee boxes. Traps are still (IMO) not 100% playable at the moment. But based on each players skill level maybe they are to some? Check in at shop and starter quick and efficient. Mask in shop and at cart pickup. Not on the course. Saw only a snack bar open at present. Course was extremely busy when we finished.

Out this AM in 3 H. Some changes in the course since last week. Greens are being aerated. They used small holes but w/o mowing they putted slow all round. No tee box issues. Fairways had some punching but no mowing. So they were not giving out roll but mostly decent lies. They have put more sand in the bunkers but it is not really good bunker sand. IMO its more like dirt and very difficult to get the club through smoothly. Check in and cart pick up fast/efficient.

Played today. Easy/fast check in at counter and carts (well done guys). Tee boxes are all fine and found no issues. Fairways are greening up but still some thin areas but good roll and decent lies all round. Found very little rough to deal with. Bunkers were all in really good shape and playable, but no rakes so no doubt will get worse as the day goes on. Greens were all clean and chipped/putted very well and had good speed. Have always liked this layout (especially the par 3's) so hope it stays around for quite awhile. Greens to be aerated 1st week of April at present.
