Played Fri Apr 12 at 720 it has been about a year since I have been here. Teed off on time following a 5 some, POP was ok at 4:08. On the 1st hole they lost or took down that big tee on the right and now you can see all the way to the green, actually opens up the hole nicely. The course looks good from the first tee box, some what green, when you get out then you realize how dry and hard everything is, fairways were recovering fron being punched and grass was short, fairways HARD if you use hybrids or fairway woods with rails on them, I E Cobra and some callaway it was difficult to hit the ball as the club would bounce. The tee boxes were very hard, difficult to get the tee in and I broke 2 plastic tees, I was in 1 fairway bunker and 1 green side bunker and the sand was good. There wasn't much rough but the areas outside the fairways were extremely over grown and you could loose balls easily. Now the greens, read the previous reviews and expected fast greens, well my bad, first 2 were very slow, still had dew on them and i didn't adjust, then by the 3rd hole sun dried them up and they were very very hard and fast. Too much so for the amount of break most of these have and the size of them. They were so hard you never left a ball mark. IMHO not good. I have to admit I am not a fan of the course, especially hole #2 , with the lay up area having so much slope it is ridiculous, they need to change that to a par 3.

Out early to insure I got back to watch the Masters. Every time I play here I ask myself why I don't play here more often? The scenery is fantastic, the course is fun to play, genrally in good condition, and the staff is always friendly and accommodating.

Greens were better than expected, faster than they appeared. Fairways nice, but still a little brown. Both bunkers I found were well maintained with plenty of sand.

Eagle Glen offers a nice mix of holes, providing some good birdie opportunities, but also some holes which require "better than average" shots to make par. Just an enjoyable track to play.

Played Eagle Glen on Monday, April 8th on GK coupon. The $32 is a great rate for this course. For an additional $5, you can get a sleeve of Pro V1’s. Lot of elevation changes and some blind tee shots. Currently the greens are running very fast and were in great shape. I like fast greens, but these were very quick. It is sometime hard tell if it is a downhill putt with the mountains. The fairways were Bermuda and were starting to green up. Two holes (2 and 3) were cart path only. Be advised this course does not go by the clubhouse at the turn; however, they had a cart girl on-duty. The POP was around 4 ½ for a mid-morning tee time. The course was full of foursome. Everyone seemed to be in position, with little or no wait on most shots. Overall is a great course to play.

Fairways coming around, trying to green up still had very thin lies with very little rough ... sometimes better to be in the rough. Firm and fast, even the greens which were true and mostly great to putt on, just not holding very well other than well struck wedges. Bunkers thin and not player friendly at all.

Always enjoyed the layout, canyon golf and a few parallel fairways where you could cut loose. Recommended with a deal.

Course is in decent shape but the greens had just been punched on the back and they were doing the front. This was on 1/30 so the greens were slow and some of them bumpy. Played in about 4 1/2 hours and according to the marshal this is their target time but we waited on every hole for a 4 some that had at least 1-1 1/2 holes open ahead of them. 4 hours on this course is easy to do so I'm not sure why they think 4 1/2 is okay. Slow play is ruining the sport.

Late getting this review posted. Played Tues 1/22 8:10 tee time. Customer service was great, Starter was friendly. Slow foursome ahead of us, but worked out OK, 4.5 POP.

Late getting this review posted. Played Tues 1/22 8:10 tee time. Customer service was great, Starter was friendly. Slow foursome ahead of us, but worked out OK, 4.5 POP.

The course was in So So condition, lot of green color, tee boxes were taking a beating from earlier tee times, no divots but pulled sod not stepped back down. Fairways were mostly green, some dry spots, some barren spots, some designated GUR, The greens were lush, but again too many ball marks, repaired a few each hole but most needed TLC. Bunkers had real nice sand, and guess what? many unraked.

Mentioned all this to the marshal on the 18th as we finished. He said he knew but most players he counseled on repairs ignored him. Mentioned one group supposedly said "we don't fix greens, or rake bunkers, not our job".

I will be a long while before we come back, long drive. Price was good value, we enjoyed our day on the course, so chalk it up to the Golf Gods.

I see under the discussion section of this page a note from Sean Dugan about slow play. Well, yesterday it was the slowest I have ever played and I play here about twice a month. It took a little over 4 1/2 hours compared to just under the normal 4 hours. IMO allowing groups of 5 out in the morning will not speed up play. But now to the course, bunkers are really nice to play out of with the sand they have put in them, almost easier than the rough. Greens were smooth and quite fast, you really needed to watch the down hillers. This is becoming my favorite course next to Goose and the Quarry. Get out here and play. P.S. you have got to stop in the grill and eat, food is delicious.

Played today 11/26 with a group outing. The conditions of the course varied. The course has been overseeded and new grass is starting to grow in areas where it was bare. The fairways were thin which made your ball roll further. Some areas of the course has been over watered causing standing water aka mud. Some of the traps were also muddy, which we played as GUR. The greens were nice but fast and at times hard to read. Still a good track to play.
