played yesterday morning in a foursome. great check in and friendly starter. course is in really good shape. both middle tee boxes were closed though so whites were up by reds and blues back where the blacks are so there wasn't really a middle ground out there. not sure why. otherwise tee boxes were mostly in good condition, a couple of shaggy ones out there but they were the exception. fairways were in good condition, pretty soft not a lot of roll out and it's a soft fluffy lie with forgiving turf, not like the hard pan when it's winter around here. rough is grown out and penal. bunkers had a decent amount of sand but you got to hit them just right. greens rolled pretty true but were generally slow for this course, most of the time they're faster here. made putting easy i guess but hard to get the ball to the hole. POP was a little rough, about 4:45. group ahead of us was chatting with the cart girl in the middle of the fairway for about 10 minutes on 14 with no one ahead of them so that was kind of painful. otherwise a good choice for the price.

My ball even sat down on a few fairways like it would in short rough. Most likely keeping them a little longer because of the heat. Now the weird part, all the flags were yellow. No red,white,or blue. The starter said it was because the white flags were dirty so they replaced 6 flags with 18 other flags. But the problem was, no rhyme or reason as to placement. The first 3 greens were up front, then back, then up front again and then 2 middle. We found ourselves driving up to the green to see where they were located for our approach shots. Just slowed everyone down. Don't think the GM gave any thought to this.

Course is in aok shape for just coming out of maintenance 2 weeks ago. But really, an early morning tee time and it took over 5 hours!!!

Early morning tee time at EG 37 degrees at tee off. Starter informed us that entire course was CPO which made for a long and tiring round of golf. Fairways were very wet and had multiple mud balls on drives, rough was way up and wet. Really needed to keep an eye on your ball when it went into the rough. Sand traps in rough shape with little sand and sides of traps had water damage. Course is very soggy and probably needs a couple of dry weeks. Our group of senior golfers did not handle CPO very well which had POP at little over five hours. Ratings reflect the current wet conditions.

Early tee time today, check in and first tee very organized though not a fan of starting on #10. Tee boxes needed a mow. Fairways were cut tight and had plenty of run to them, rough was up and tough to get out of really need to keep an eye out for balls in the rough. Bunkers were compacted dirt and needed to pick the ball clean to have a chance. Greens were near perfect, holding well struck shots and smooth as silk. Weather was perfect and deer all over the course.

played here mid week, mid morning. tons of people waiting to tee off, which was already a bad sign. got off about 10 minutes late. tee boxes were shaggy and unmowed, blues and black together, and whites and reds together. maybe some maintenance. fairways had fair, somewhat minimal coverage. course was overwatered and a lot of muddy areas. CPO which made things painful. bunkers had thin layer of sand which was easy to thunk a bunker shot out of. greens were slow and shaggy, would easily bump off line. pace of play was slooow. 4h45 minutes we got through 15, ended up deciding to leave. driving through the end, a bunch of guys on 18 in the second fairway (probably 6 carts) all watching shots from their buddies probably a small tourney or group outing. no wonder it was so slow. didn't see a marshall, don't think anyone cared if they held up anything. not enjoyable.

Played 09/14/22 at 1:20pm. Finished #18 in 3 hrs 17 minutes. Unfortunately, we started on #10.

Called the Pro Shop 5 times during the 3+ hours. Each time they said they would send someone out. Nobody was sent out. Even tried to call the GM twice, the GM didn't answer. I hope he was out here playing.

We started 5:40 before sunset. We were on pace to finish 1 hour after sunset.

Conditions pretty good, and a great layout but it doesn't matter if the staff doesn't care about pace of play. I quit after 9.

Brutal.

I agree with the prior post regarding the conditions of the course. It was still cart path only today and the white tees were moved way up to the reds. The course was damp, so we could not see why it was all cart path only. It is not as easy course to play cart path only and slows the play way down. No Marshall to keep the groups moving as we had a group that were two holes behind. 5-hour round on a warm day suck.

Hole#1 fairway and rough was being aerated and overseeded. Greens were slow as it seems they are letting it grow before aeration in 2 weeks from now.

Played here on Saturday 9/10. Before I start, I must issue the disclaimer that it had rained a significant amount--and for the first time in months--the day & night before. As such , the course wasn't in it's usual condition. It was cart path only throughout, and all the greens were soft, slow, and bumpy. Which meant all shots would hold, and you could aim pretty much straight at the pin; just have to hit your putts hard enough to get to the hole.

Aside from these conditions that were unique to the rain, I'm sorry to report that the course isn't in as good of shape as I remember it. Granted I've only played here once prior to today, but I don't remember there being so many bare spots on the course. Everywhere--fairways, rough, even greens, there were patches of ground that were mostly or completely absent of grass. Aside from this, things were pretty good: Lush conditions on most of the course, including tee boxes, minus some thin spots in the rough near the edges. I didn't go into any bunkers, but form what I observed, they appeared to have decent sand in the middle, but possibly hard/thin/crusty near the edges. There were also some muddy spots out there, but tha was probably due to the rain.

All in all, I do not think this course is worth the $100 they charge on weekend mornings, BUT it is worth the $45 to play twilight (I was given an even lower price, as well as a free course/yardage guide book, so high marks to them for that, from a service standpoint). Practice facilities are good, too, with a grass range, chipping green, and putting green. Nice restaurant setup, too.
