Played Tues mar 2nd at 822. My friend set up the tee time on line and had to prepay $65, so we just checked in at the starter by the carts. Putting green open and range opej. Started to practice putting and know it was not good, practice green was a shade of brown and down hill putts moved. We play the whites and on the first tee the whites were at the reds, from then on the whites were at their spots. Course is very dry, some tee boxes you need to bring a hammer to get the tee in the ground, fairways dormant grass that just runs and there is really no rough to stop the ball, traps were just hard, the ball actually bounced in the first trap and bounced out into the second trap and bounced out of the second, at least i didn't have to hit out of the trap, but it rolled into the bushes. Greens were hard, no ball marks, and rolled a little bumpy, fast going down hill and some pins were in stupid positions. The 18th green was completely unplayable, so many coots and so much coot crap that you could not putt, i had a 25 footer and it hit a piece of crap and turned 12* just take 2 puuts and move on. I like eagle glen layout with the exception of hole #2 as stated many times, but IMHO $65 is highway robbery for this couse, don't play here unless you get a deal, the conditions just don't warent that rate.

Played here today with a 1:10 TeeOff.com “Deal” time purchased just a couple hours earlier. I was checking the app a few times an hour to see if any new offerings popped up, and when this one did, I jumped on it. (It must’ve been a cancellation because the starter’s printouts showed a foursome in that 1:10 slot.) Got a great deal plus 15% off promo code to pay around $28. Sounded like another player was arguing with the starter a bit about whether or not he and his buddy would have to ride together. Apparently if you book as a single, they’ll give you a single-rider cart. If you book as a twosome, you have to share with who you booked with. At any rate, I got my own cart and luckily the starter sent me and another guy off as a twosome around 20 minutes early when the group that was supposed to be teeing off was nowhere to be found. Front nine POP was awful, with four groups stacked up on the par-3 4th tee, and multiple groups waiting on several other holes. When the backups continued on the back nine, it seemed highly unlikely we would finish, but eventually the group in front of us left after 17 and me and my playing partner decided to give it a go. Luckily we both hit good shots all the way, and were able to find them and finish just as it was pretty much too dark to possibly play anymore. Total POP just under 5 hours. Seems like the course could’ve managed this better, because when we were on the 12th tee, there was no one at all playing the adjacent 14th hole. Someone should’ve told that group to speed up.

Conditions are mediocre, but playable. Greens are in decent condition. Seemed a little bumpy, far too many unfixed ball marks, medium speed and more firm than soft. The weird part is they look great, by far the most visually attractive part of the course right now. Another oddity: At least two greens had piles of sand on them in spots that looked like bare spots from afar. Not sure what that was about. Probably 6/10 overall. Fairways are a mix of thin dormant bermuda and bare spots of hardpan dirt. Very tight lies and very little to slow balls down when they get near the edges/ESA. Where it exists, rough was pretty good. Some lush rye and some dormant bermuda. I wasn’t in any bunkers but my playing partner was, and said it had very little sand in it. Blue tee boxes were fair.

Every time I play here I ask myself why I don’t play here more often. It’s a really good layout and pretty fun right now with the extremely firm and fast conditions. (My playing partner hit a great drive that went almost 400 yards on the par-5 12th.) You really have to think about what the ball is going to do after it hits the ground, which can get in your head and also adds an element of extra fun. Recommended at “deal” prices, but not sure I’d be happy paying more considering current conditions and pace of play.

I played a shotgun start Men's Club tourney here on Saturday 1/9/2021. It was a good time but as a result of the format, the POP was slow at 4:35 and it was chilly to start, but once the sun came out it turned into a beautiful day.

The course was mostly dormant so all of the fairways were browned out and very thin. In some spots there was no grass, but the ground, for the most part, was soft yet firm, so making shots wasn't impossible. The interesting part as a result of so little grass was some crazy long run outs. Playing short of the green was a viable option often, especially to a front pin location, as it almost always would end up on the green. If you hit a decent drive and was fortunate to catch a downhill landing area, drives would run 50 -60 year's routinely.

The greens were bumpy but receptive and of medium speed with a lot of subtle breaks. If they had been any faster these greens would be exceptionally difficult to putt, but for the most part they were ok.

Tee areas were mostly lush and level. Some damage here and there but mostly along the edges and not in play. Finally the traps were in nice shape with somewhat dark, fine sand and although there were no rakes, well maintained.

The layout could be fun under slightly more lush conditions. you will use most clubs in the bag. Driver isn't the go to club on many mid length par 4's as you could easily go way through the fairways on some hard doglegs if you don't cut off big chunks of the corner. Many elevated tees and there are a few blinds shots, off the tee as well as approaches.

I look forward to going back in the spring after some rain but don't think I'd make the drive to go in the winter again. Customer service was great, the cart girl was continually coming around as I think we saw her at least 5 times. Standard Covid rules are in place and there's a nice practice putting green and the range has both mats and grass options.

Played fri dec 18th at 730, check in fast, putting green open, got out 10 minutes late, starter was very friendly. I knew what to expect from the last review and have played here before with the fairways like this, you just have to adjust and play short and let the ball run, I didn't have any issues hitting the ball off the fairways and I was in 10 of them, I was not it any bunkers so can't comment, tee boxes were fine, we played the whites, greens were semi receptive with some ball marks to repair, they looked a little bumpy but weren't, they rolled on the faster side. The wind came up on the back 9 so the holes were either directly down wind or into the wind. They put fence on 18 where the water is to stop the ball from rolling into the water, BUT the put red stakes a foot from the fence so you do not get a free drop from the fence, you are in a hazrd and can drop but with a stroke, at least you can save a ball. POP was not good at 435, our second group in front of us is always slow.

Played mid morning here today. Really need to stop playing golf out here in Corona. Just ridiculously long rounds (5h10min) and bad winter conditions just like dos lagos last week. Fairways are brown and dormant which means that there is a teeny layer of brown dead grass. Which in Corona target golf land means that your ball runs forever and usually ends up out of bounds. Hole 3, 5, 9 your drives will run out and there are sand bags or fences but it just doesn't work. There is no rough. Tee boxes were OK from blue. There was actually grass on fringe and greens ran medium fast but were pretty bumpy. Would have enjoyed it if I wasn't waiting on every shot. 5+ is just too long.

Range: Pretty decent; you can choose between grass or mats for the same price. Grass was packed and pretty beat up I heard so I warmed up on the mats. The mats are new, or newish because they had some give and werent the usually scraggly ones you find at courses. Range balls were decent; I dont usually expect much so they were fine.
Course: Tee boxes were decent; some were not level and eaten up. Lots of divots on the par 3's as well. Fairways are really thin and not very green. The ball is rolling a long way, but most of the fairways are more like links courses right now. Greens were good, there were punched about a month ago I was told and today they were really fast and firm. The course isnt very difficult, when there is no wind, most long hitters can get away with using long irons off of most tee shots. Overall, I would play here again.

Greens all bumpy, looked like week old punching, parking lot was smoother. Fairways were smoother than greens and ran forever and rock hard and dry. But hold on, you want wet? The rough around the greens and the greens themselves had standing water.

Played the course yesterday. We have not played this course since the start of the virus restrictions. They are now taking reservations by calling the Pro shop without having to pre-pay for your group. A+ for going back to this system. Check-in was smooth and as always staff was friendly.

Course conditions. Fairways were very firm so balls rolled if you landed on it, contained grass but not plush. Bunkers were compact and had many small rocks. Rough were lush and were about 2", but were being cut as we played. Greens were fast and unless you flopped it on the green expect it to roll.

Marshalls were seen driving around the course, but POP was a good at about 4 hours.
