Staff is as always friendly, burgers are very good. Fun track for the $$$$$. They do not plan to punch greens,, med speed.. we will return as long as regular stops have waffle greens. its just that time of year. It would be a good thing if they added a few truck loads of dirt to the fairways to smooth things out. Ya almost get a headache bouncing around on the crazy uneven terrain. But aside from that its cheap fun golf. And we think its slope is a bit low. It is a lot more difficult than a 116 from the whites. going back next week.

Played after 2pm on a weekday and paid $15 with a coupon which includes cart. At this price I recommend this course without reservation. However, this course does not deserve its average score of 7 (great). Many tee boxes are not level, there are some bare spots in the fairways, a lot of hardpan dirt in the place of rough, and greens with lots of divot damage. The sand traps are interesting...they are full of some dark brown mix but it actually plays pretty well.

The course has it's challenges with water coming into play on a few holes, a few narrow fairways, and doglegs. The layout is better than most muni's but it's average at best. For $15 my foursome had a good time at "The General". The staff were friendly and we were able to finish our round before dark even though we started after 230pm.

Greens are in great shape. Fairways not bad either. Course is looking good as always. One of my favorite tracks to play and still is.

played saturday at 2pm got done is 4 hours. Nothing to special about the course conditions. The greens were very slow and every ball stuck on the approach shots. The layout was the only thing real good about this course. Every hole had its own feel to it and the course requires you to work a lot of tee shots to find the narrow fairways. Overall it is a pretty good deal if you are in the area.

played last week and again this week since it is in such good shape and the tee deals are not to be missed...today was 22.50 for golf/cart/hot dog/drink..you can't beat that!! the sand traps today were a bit crusty and inconsistant , but overall great place to play..just a bit slow today , waited on every shot..but the group behind us had no one behind them...wide open in the late morning and early afternoon...go play!!!!

course is in great condition and uncrowded (tues) and played under 4 hours....with all the aerating going on around the area...go play this course...it is a hidden gem..and great to play!!

Played 9 holes Sunday afternoon 8/31/08. Course was in very good shape. Greens held approach shots exceptionally well. Bunkers had plent of dirt in them. Not real sand some kind of gravel mix. They were not white but a dark brown.

It's a long way out there for me but if I am ever in the area again I will get in all 18. Anyone else notice how bumpy the fairways are when you ride in the cart? I remembered that from previous rounds I played there. Doesn't affect play but lots of bumps when riding.
