it rained the entire night before our 6:51 tee time and the course was in great shape. the drainage here is excellent from tee to green.we walked and were finished in 4 hrs. absolutely a must play,greens are big w/undulation, fast and true,watchout for false fronts. won't be dissappointed!

Everything nice but the first green is bumpy and ugly. Pace of play slow, walking threesome very slow. tee'd off at 7:30 and didn't finish until a little after 12:00.

Goose Creek was in great shape. Always a pleasure to drive out to such a great course for the steal of a price. Our foursome got on for a twilight price of $42.

Very good value especially with Senior discount. Holes are not that long but have a lot of sand traps to make them a challenge.

The greens softened up a bit from the recent storms - held all shots well - had to fix some deep ball marks (my own!) - and about three dozen others (NOT mine!) - people have got to start fixing their ball marks or this course will begin to look like Wilson and Harding!! Fairways in good shape.....they had a pretty good sized feral pig trap on number 12 - nothing caught when we walked by - but - they tend to only come out at night. I hHope the Goose Creek employees get to have a big pig roast soon! There was no visible pig damage at all.

By the way - I smoked a nice Acid Kuba Kuba from Captain Tobacco in Pasadena at the Goose today. It's a 50 minute drive and I could walk to Brookside - but - I will never play Brookside again!!!

Played the Goose on 11/10 and seems to have recovered nicely. The greens are firm & fast but held most mid and short irons (7 iron released about 12'). As usual with most courses in the area, people are not fixing their diviots. Get out and play this beauty.

This course gets better every time we play it. It is worth the drive to play acourse in good shape and at a fair price
