Nice layout, for the price the course is in awesome shape, there are a few issues with some of the tee boxes and greens but overall in great shape, can't beat the price for this quality. And the pace of play is always great, about 4 hours 15 minutes on average.

Went out today and was very disappointed in the condition Goose is in. Greens were bumpy and would not hold the line. Fairways cut short and some had patches of dirt. The bunkers were packed down dirt, so packed down that you could walk in them and leave no prints. I hope they turn it around as this was one of the best. Also, first time it took over 4 hours to play at 7 in the morning. Waited on quite a few shots and all the par 3's. Usually takes around 3 1/2 hours but this morning, almost 4 1/2. Seems like the last few rounds at any course have been taking a lot longer. No idea why unless the slower players are now coming out early due to the time change.

Played the "Goose" today. It had been awhile mainly cuz its hard to get an early morning start time at this "Gem" in the inland empire. The course is usually in good shape but today it was immaculate! Frankly, I thought they were getting it ready for a pro tournament. This is just a wonderful course especially considering it gets a lot of play. They have a great starter who doesn't just throw guys out. We had a foursome in front and a foursome in back and we never felt rushed and had to wait maybe 3 or 4 minutes on the Par 3's. On the fairway you'd think your ball was on a tee. Greens impeccable and quick. The only drawback if there is one about this course is the traps. Sand not the best so stay out of them! PLAY this course. Fun and a good value!

I think Goose Creek is one of the nicest golf courses in the Riverside county area . They have nice turf grass in the fareways , the rough and on the greens . But the sad news about this course is they have an infestation of African fireants . They are all over golf course and you need to look where step . Those ants get on you fast and they burn .

Played Sunday Oct 12th. Had a early tee time and then the fog rolled in. Got there and saw no carts ready to go out. We were walking. Talked to the cart attendent and he said they were really slow today, only 24 signed up. Well then went to pay with my guys and they said $68 for walking no senior discount onweekends. Well I said to myself, well now I know why they are not busy. As much as I like Goose I think that price not only hurts golfers but hurts their business also. Well stupid us we teed off anyway in the fog. Well the first 4 hole were impossible and it was cartpath only if you were riding so I have no idea how those golfers found there balls because you coul only se about 40 feet on the first few holes. Overall the course was very long, fairway grass was longer do to seeding, and the greens were long and very slow. Overall OK but will play there on Fridays when rates are reasonable.

Played 8/24 and the course was in its usual great condition with the exception of the green on the par 3 5th. This green has been the worst one on this course for quite a while. It has some patches of new sod and some bare spots. I was told they will be punching around Sept. 20
We got around in 4:15 but seamed longer as we waited on a lot of the holes. Just a busy place on a very nice day for a round of golf.
They are building some new areas on the practice range. Looks like a much larger chipping area on the left end and another putting green just to the left of the first tee.
Overall a great day on my favorite course

You know the Goose is always in good shape. Greens today were a little slower than normal but consistent. I just want to say, why were holes 17 and 18 so wet? Had to take a drop out of casual water on 17 and got sprayed by a mud ball on 18. Other than that, 3 1/2 hour round. Such a pleasure to play here.

Play at The Goose all the time and from the awesome staff to the awesome conditions, there is no course that can match Goose Creek. Played on Friday Aug.1. Greens are running very fast and smooth. Fairways are perfect (People, use the divot mix on your cart to fill your divot and fix one more while you have the bottle in your hand) Bunkers ? Majority of the bunkers have plenty of smooth sand in them, it gets windy here so the sand tends to blow out of select bunkers. I Love this place.
