Played on 10/22. They had a mens club with 4-5 groups in front of us that was super slow and playing from the wrong tees given their playing ability. The Marshall drove by my group saying that he was looking for the hold up. Obviously this guy was blind or drunk. This is a great course. The layout for the price is excellent.

Since the course was just recently overseeded and greens punched, the general condition was a bit rough, However all things considered, the course was in as good condition as it could be. They changed #12 from a brutal 445yd par 4 into a very playable par 5. I think this was a very nice change, good for all but the best of players.

Played 8/6. Course has made a real nice recovery from the winter floods. Greens are very soft, and run true (if I could only read them).

Played 7/30. Course is very nice from tee to green. Fairways seem to have a lot of ground under repair, but they were all marked, and the rest of the fairways were great. Fast greens, but received shots well. Little smelly with the dairy farm on parts of the course. Great range and practice green, plus an easily accessable chipping area. What a burger in the club house though! Best I've had at a golf course.

Played on 7/23/05 - best conditions tee-to-green as I have seen at Goose Creek since they opened!! Fairways are just magnificent!! Not a bad lie on the course! People are NOT fixing ball-marks - this is a sickness that MUST change - and that's just not at The Goose! I must have fixed 50+ FRESH ball-marks on greens during the round! I, too, love the new changes on the long par-4 that is now a par-5. Great job!! New bunkers are well-placed and full of great sand! Overall - still the best value in So Cal golf! Greens were "prepared" (I was told they were "double mowed and rolled" the day before we played....in prep for a Junior Tourney. Well, they're still kinda slow! Oh well - ya can't have everything!)

Played on 7/19 and course was in excellent condition. Green were firm but receptive, smooth and true, though not fast. This is a very good course with it strength being in difficult or long par 3 holes. The back nine is tougher than the front, and the last 2 holes are the highest ranking holes on the course. Also the course has recently been re-rated due to a change of the 12th hole. What use to be an almost impossible par 4, is now a lengthened par 5 which changes the par for 18 holes from 70 to 71. It is a great change and something I wish Eagle Glen would think about, change some hole routings to make it more equitable for low handicap short ball hitters. Great day on the links. Also has excellent practice facilitiy.
