7:30 tee time this AM, traffic was a bear,everyone was late and surprise,surprise, the front desk folks were calm and friendly and put everyone out as they arrived. Very refreshing and professional, a big thank you to you guys. The course is in terrific shape, greens are a little slow but very receptive to shots and thick enough that no damage from divots, fairways and everything else very nice. Bunkers a little hard but OK. We will return, oh yeah, only realized the dairy situation on one hole,wonderful wind direction today. a little bug spray if ya have an early tee time,none needed today.

played Sat. 6/18 - the Goose is playing good, just not great. greens are a little on the slow side and a little bumpy. still a great lay out. did not know #12 is a temp par 3 that they are making into a par 5. that should be a lot of fun once it is done. they are narrowing the hole with more bunkers and moving the tees back. great idea. the best part overall, played in exactly 4 hours on a Saturday with a 9am tee time and no waiting! on father's day weekend!

I recently took my golf team to Goose Creek for a golf outing and I found the staff at Goose Creek to be one of the most pleasant and cordial staff I have met in a while. They took good care of us and because our young men were well behaved they took the time to give them free tokens for the range. The course is in great shape, the fairways were immaculate, the greens although not difficult were cut low and fast which is a nice change from some of the courses we play in our CIF golf schedule. Take the time to play this course you will enjoy!!!

Awesome day at Goose Creek! We were first twilight group off. We played in 3 hours 40 minutes, walking on a sunday! Great pace. Course is in fabulous shape. Very lush. Greens roll true. Fairways lush. Not much divot damage. Wonderfully challenging course. Some brutal par 3's, including the 222 yard 16th. Nice practice facility. Staff was courteous. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Great conditions as of Saturday, May 21st at 7:16 A.M. 4-hours and 20 minutes - and we waited on almost every hole. I still hit one into the crrrrap where the old cart-path was washed-out on #12 - I wish they'd get some bulldozers in there and fix it already. It's not a narrow fairway, by any means, but the best angle to the green with a long iron is slightly from the right-hand side - and the right-hand side is seriously missing some of the old turf and landing-area!! Greens were kind of fluffy and slow, uphill putts seemed like I was putting over glue - tough to get 'em rolling. I had just come from a weekend of golf in Primm, Nevada, where the greens were sunbaked and slick like wet glass. Hard to get used to The Goose's greens on Saturday. 41-44=85 - typical for me. However - one of my playing partners (the one that won the tourney in Primm) shot a smooth 72, taking all of the bets. It was an artistic round, to be sure.

Played on 5/3 and the course is in great condition. The greens are well healed and quite receptive to approach shots - this was never the case before. Greens were running a bit slower than usual but definitely were not bumpy. I played very early so dew and lack of mowing is what I suspect lowered the speed. The staff is one of the best in the area and because of all the rain this year the wild areas in and surrounding the course are beautiful. Great place to play a challenging, yet fair, round of golf!

I fell in love with this course the first time I played it three years ago. When I was designated to choose courses for my golf club this year, Goose Creek was on the top of my list. Unfortunately, when we played it on April 24th, the wind kicked up that day, so on several holes we had the infamous dairy farm smell. The greens were still a little spotty looking from the recent punching, but they seemed to roll pretty smoothly. They were pretty slow because of some morning drizzle, and sped up as the day got along. The course layout is still my main attraction. It seems like every hole has something that makes you think, whether it is a split fairway, or an overhanging tree, or a well-placed water hazard. The sand was a little packed down because of the moisture. I didn't see any marshalls that day, especially since the group in front of us were playing pretty slow and also had cart problems. Pro shop, beverage cart, and snack shop service were first rate. Definitely a must-play in Riverside, can't get much better for the price.
