Played in a scramble tournament on Saturday. The course was in better condition than I expected. The greens were in fairly good condition, if it weren't for all the spike marks they would have been really good. The course itself is pleasing to the eye. Spectacular views from many parts of the course. This is a must play if you have not been out here. There were only a couple dry spots in the fairways, otherwise they were in great condition.
There was a nice breeze all day which kept it comfortable, we did not go short on beverages although! They have an ice chest on the carts and ball washers, and nice GPS. Friendly staff, well run event.

Website gave good tips. Appreciated delivery of wet towels when temps began to rise. Will play again.

Very challenging layout course with many good amenities. Every hole is well designed and bunkered.

So here is the bad news: Terrible greens that cannot even meet the municipal course level. The speed is very slow and the condition is plain poor with plenty of spikes and unfixed ball marks all over the place. They jammed pack the players so close that there are 3 groups of 4-somes waiting on every par-3. It took us 5 1/2 hours to finish the round.

I really want to return but I'd have to wait for consistent good news on greens.

I do love the layout and scenery. Please, someone do something about the greens and marshaling.

Played the course this morning, 3rd off, finished in 3 1/2 hrs! The course is in great shape, greens a touch slow but only took 2 holes to adjust, shot a nice round of 76 from the blues with a double bogey on the quirky 6th hole. Service was top notch, attendant met us in the parking lot, knew our names, took our bags, put a nice bag tag on it. The starter gave us lots of info. Lots and lots of bunkers, GPS on the carts was VERY helpful, didnt use driver much on this course as its not needed much. I would recommend this course to anyone that wants to play a nice course with great service.

Well me and Fireman33 played Oak Quarry again and the course was in perfect condition we got on around 345 pm and played 18 in around 3 hours and im happy to say i won him. But not only did I win him I shot a 99 ,I finally broke a 100.But the best part is playing on such a great course where they always take care of you......oh yah and winning your best friend.......

Played in the Click4TeeTimes tournament. Shotgun, well-run, included lunch. Course not much changed since I last played...green for #2 still has a "fungus-amongus"....but, hit a good shot and you wont have to contend with the bumpity-bumps.

Overall, greens are mowed-long, slow as molasses, and bumpy. But GM Hank and the boys are aware and working toward a solution. Perhaps they are a little bit better than last time...but be prepared to leave a lot of putts short until you get used to how slow the greens are.

It took me 18 holes!

First time playing OQ from the blue tees in a long time...it's a completely different course from back there! My normal white-tee score is "85". It's "95" from the blues.

I opened on the 14th (signature hole) par-three...it was playing 191 yds. That's a daunting carry!

Still a great track!

The couse was in decent condition. I have seen worse, but I have also seen much better. I would compare it to El Rancho Verde. The greens were very bumpy and slow.
