This course gets better every time I visit it. Greens are 100% improved as is customer service. They have replaced range balls and only use the grass tees now - wow! I was told that this would be the best maintained public course in the valley - it is well on its way. I will be back!

Played here 7/2 for the first time in 4 years. I forgot what an interesting layout this is! Great course, and in great condition! From what I've heard the course went in to disrepair for a couple years, but when I played it was in great shape. the greens are a little bumpy, but, admittedly, i am highly critical of greens. I gave the greens 8 out of 10 because they held wonderfully and the speed was consistent. I would recommend playing here to anyone. there are a few blind shots, but the length is not an issue at all. It is target golf at it's finest. A nice mix of holes. I got a deal on Underpar.com, so check them out.

Layout is really good, pace of play 3 hours on Sunday midday. Greens were pretty good, hopefully the new ownership can invest in some new range balls. Fairways were fair, a little spotty but did not draw any bad lye's. Bunker's were very playable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Click4teetimes special rate $25 is a bargain.

Played in intermittent rain at Temeku Hills yesterday for the first time. I was somewhat leery given prior reviews but was pleasantly surprised by the course conditions, especially the greens which I would rate 8 out of 10. Tee boxes were OK while the fairways had issues in some areas. Hole 18 is a great hole. The par threes from the blues are all 165 yds plus while the par fours are not that tough.

I would enjoy playing here again in drier conditions.

This course has made a turn for the better. Maintenance had found the fairways and greens. We used to play this course years ago when it opened and it was a great place. It has almost returned to the quality it was back then (the course). The pro shop still looks like a thrift store with not much - but who cares? Worth a try for those that remember what it wad like when it opened years ago.

There was quite a disparity between the quality of different parts of the course, with the best being the fairways. I thought they were in great shape. The tee boxes and bunkers were a different story. They are manicured in a haphazard way it seems, a rough around the edges look. The greens were in ok, to some of them being very nice. It was strange how some greens were better than others. The slopes and shapes of the greens are very similiar to the ones at Menifee Lakes. I like this layout and will play it again.

Aside from a few minor issues, there is nothing wrong with this course. Some of the reviews led me to believe that this was an overpriced goat tract. Far from it. Though I would rank other courses in the area higher (Redhawk & the SCGA course), the layout and conditions are okay for the money and I would play it again.



The greens were in very good condition, but slow. Two exceptions were #’s 5&10, which had a few bare spots. They were consistent (but SLOW) and rolled pretty true. The fairways were in good condition with areas of maintenance sprinkled throughout (which, along with the slushy areas just watered indicates to me that they are trying.) The layout is reasonably interesting and mostly fair with a few blind shots but no real unpleasant surprises.



The couple of issues I had were:

-Tee boxes were in bad shape. A lot of damage and uneveness. (Just a note for those who care about tee boxes)

- The facilities are pretty bare. The pro shop had only a few shirts and minimum accessories. Make sure you don’t need anything before coming here.

- No snack bar to speak of. The pro shop had a refrigerator with a few drinks. If you want something at the turn, you have to go into the restaurant and order it.

-Nonworking water fountains. Between the 15th and 16th holes, the fountain by the restrooms was inoperative as well as the one near the pro shop. There are adequate water stations on the course, but still, they should fix those.



Please note, the 18th green is quite tiered. You DEFENITELY want to be on the level where the pin is located or your putt will be of the circus variety.

Played on Thur. 7/16/10 and the place was fairly empty. The conditions of the course where a pleasant surprise except for the bunkers which still need a lot of work. The fairways are in great shape as with the greens minus the first few which are quit bumpy. Their are weeds growing out of many of the bunkers but it seems as if they are do plenty of work to get this course back to where it once was. I would think that they will address the bunker situation soon!

Played Temeku today and was actually impressed. this course has totally flipped from what it once was. The fairways were good, greens were better than ever, and the rough was thick and lush. The only downside I found were the bunkers, they were soaking wet from the sprinklers. Although some bunkers were average at the same time. I can't believe I'm actually saying this, but I will be back in the near future to play again.
