Played Sunday, March 1st. Called the starter around 9am and he had a slot for a single at 10:15. Yippee. Got right out on time. POP was just over 4hrs, so not too bad for Nado. The wind and chilly weather scared some people away, I guess. Course is in it's usual playable shape, but nothing was fantastic. Teeboxes were level and had good coverage. Fairways were pretty thin and dry. Made for some good rollout, but there were some patchy spots. Rough wasn't very penal at all. Found one bunker and it was just fine, nice and fluffy. Greens were a little on the hard side, some of them held shots, but for the most part, they rolled out about a half of club and even short irons barely made a ball mark on the green. They rolled pretty smooth, though. $43 to walk on Sunday is worth it for sure. It's always beautiful out there to walk. Easy recommend.

Course condtions were acceptable all around. Teeboxes were a little shaggy, had to take a couple of seconds to find a good spot to tee it up, but they were level with not too much divot damage. Just a little longer than I normally like. Fairways were in great shape, never had a bad lie all day. Rough was hit or miss, I had a couple of bad lies, but it wasn't too long. Greens were just fine, held shots very well as they were soft from all the recent rain. They putted fairly smooth and were pretty quick. Customer service was just fine as always. Didn't see the beverage cart except once and it was on hole 18, oh well. I bring my own anyway, so no big deal. $43 to walk is acceptable for a weekend. I love the layout, for being a flat course, it still really makes you think on every shot. Always recommend Nado.

POP was the usual 5hrs, wish they could do something to speed up the pace. Oh well, the views are amazing, so just soak em in and know it's going to be a long round.

Everything was in pretty good shape. Teeboxes were level and a little shaggy, but no problems finding a good place for the peg. Fairways were pretty darn good. Nice and green with good rollout, a couple of bad areas, but I had good lies all day. Didn't find any bunkers, but they seemed allright. Greens were very receptive, but they were a little bumpy with medium speed. Overall, no complaints. Saw the beverage cart a few times and everyone in the pro shop was fine. Mike the starter is great and Brian the bartender is fantastic!! Always a good day at Nado.

Played yesterday, Sunday, after watching the Chargers finally looking like a real football team. called the starter and he was able to get me out there, football Sundays seem like a good time to get out at this busy course, especially if you go right before the twilight rate. Dennis, the starter is amazing, he's such a great guy. All the starters are nice there.

Teed off at 1:22 and walked off 18 green at 5:22. Pace was awesome which is very rare for this course as it's so busy. Course is in pretty good shape, although they are getting ready to aerate, so these conditions are indicative of yesterday, only.

Teeboxes were level, but they were pretty chewed up. lots of bare spots and divots, but you could find a good spot fairly easily to tee it up.

Fairways were pretty awesome. I never had a bad lie all day. Good cushion and good roll out.

Greens were pretty good, too. They're getting ready to punch them, so this will be valid for today only. They held shots and putted true. Still couldn't make anything, but I just suck at putting.

Found two bunkers and they were just fine.

Rough wasn't penal, it was mowed pretty low, only about 2 inches longer than the fairway and was easy to hit out.

Beverage cart came by twice. Service all around is great. Always a good day at Nado.

Played Nado yesterday and was 3rd off as a 3some. Got off a little earlier than my time and. There was a 2some behind us and no one behind them for several holes. Rain or the threat must have scared people off. Finished right at 3 hours.

Overall conditions are meh. Some greens still show signs of punching. Some greens have a fungus. Some have dead/dry areas. Practice green also has some fungus on it too. Greens didn’t roll that well. I struggled with the speed all day, never did really get a ball to the hole.

Fairways are ok. Again there were areas where the punching is still coming back. Generally good lies.

Rough is non existent so it’s playable.

Tee boxes need a trim and the tee box on 9 needs to be leveled.

Id probably wait in playing here until a little bit better conditions. Usually I like the greens here but I think right now they just need a little more time to heal.

Sunday, March 31, twilight $25, first time here. Apparently, there is only one rate for both visitors and locals. I was delighted when I heard that on this nice day of 82 degrees, light breezed sunny day. To top it off, everyone I spoke to at the pro shop were all kind and helpful... well almost.. the starter feels he needs to be difficult for some reason and I'll just leave it at that- everyone is having their own battle so his may be tougher than most.

Anyway, because of the nice staffs and the course being next to the water in a nice warm weather, I can't help but think I'm in the islands- and that's a treat on its own.

I found the course to be very flat with elevated greens and teeing grounds. It was really nice for walking but although it was moving well on the fairways, our round took four and a half hours. We suspect it was the greens where the group in front struggled and were a bit slow.

We knew the greens were being punched as scheduled yesterday and today April 1&2 so this review may not help anyone. But just to go through the process, the greens were hard enough not to hold any approaches making it tough even if you run it up because of the kikuyu grass around the greens.

The bunkers were fine and the fairways were in good shape. The rough were not tall at all, it just looks like an uneven/un-mowed area. It wasn't bad. The teeing grounds were okay, some of them were uneven but not that chewed up- it was okay.

There were about 4 fairways that had out of bound markers on either left or right and one I'm sure it was both on left and right sides. I'm not too crazy about that, but it looks like they had to do it and they have a sign they do not want you to play from an OB fairway as it can slow play or worse yet dangerous.

There was a bev cart that came by a few times. ($4 gatoraide!)

If I get another chance to play here, I will surely take that chance.

Called at 10:20 to check how busy it was and the starter said he had an opening for 11:22, so I took it. $40 resident walking rate for a beautiful Saturday afternoon is well worth it. POP was great today, it wasn't too busy, 4.5hrs total is totally acceptable for this place, we waited just a little on about half the shots but it moved along nicely.

Teeboxes were all level, but most of them weren't mown so they were a little shaggy, but not a big deal. Fairways were in great shape, very nice perfect firmness with great coverage. Never had a bad lie all day. Found one bunker and it was nice, good sand, nice and fluffy. Rough wasn't too penal, it was only about an inch or two longer than the fairways, easy to hit from. Greens were in pretty good shape, held shots very well, but were a little bumpy. Lots of unrepaired ball marks, makes you mad after you fix 3-5 marks on every green, lazy people. Customer service was just fine, didn't see the beverage cart, but no biggie, love my Datrek bag with built in cooler that holds a 6pack ice cold for the entire round.
All and all, a great day where I live. I only play here about 3-4 times a year, cuz it's usually such a pain to get out. Hit it up if you can.

Played Friday Oct 5 as a single. Walked up to starter, was 4th on list and got out in under 20 minutes. They had a shotgun tournament so we were last group (all the singles at once)... Course conditions were nice, greens a tad on slow side from what I am use to but rolled nice. Fairways were nice, rough wasnt very penal but def took spin off the ball. Funny as I was trying to decide where to play, I read a reviewer that said "there was surprisingly a lot of sand at the top of the bunker" and it struck me as an odd comment until I missed the green right and just about lost my ball because the sand at the top is deep and light... The ultimate plug.

Got here a little before 6 to put my name on the list and got in the 3rd group out at 6:40ish. Pace wasn’t an issue as we cruised to 3:30 finish. Overall conditions are pretty impressive. Greens are in great shape. Not too many ball marks, old and new. I do remember it looked like a little fungus spot on the front of 4 and a handful of dead areas. Bu considering the amount of play this course gets I really like the overall aesthetic of the greens. They also rolled at a decent pace too.

Fairways are in good shape too. Again there are some dead spots but it’s really good to hit from. Sat up nicely on the fairway.

Rough is the same. Not penalizing but those trees do come into play.

I was in the green side bunker on 10 and plugged in the face and there was no way for me to get out. I was surprised there was that much sand especially that high up. Others looked consistent. Fairway bunkers looked a little firmer thou.

Considering most courses are undergoing maintenance this course is certainly worth a look and for $37 to walk certainly fits into anyone budget.
