Decided to head out to this course on 6/19/18 because I had a day off from work and had an afternoon to kill. Headed out for a 2pm tee time since the tee sheet was completely empty. I had a good round but the lack of rough and dirt fairways made it a little tough to gauge where the ball was going to end up, especially on the dog leg holes.

Greens:
The greens were arguably the best part of this course, albeit they were relatively soft and slow. Balls didnt quite plug but they could have easily with just a little more moisture on the green. The rolled pretty true where the ball marks were repair correctly but you really had to swing at the ball to get it moving.

Fairways:
The fairways were really rough. They ranged from completely bare dirt to minimal coverage with some actual spots that had fairway grass. Some areas had some dried grass which was the easiest spot to play off of since you werent slamming irons into the hardpan. It looks like the grass is trying to come back but it just cant.

Bunkers:
The bunkers were hard-packed and had some really large rocks in them. I ended up pulling some baseball and lime size rocks out of a fairway bunker I found myself in. I decided it was best to just pick everything super clean in all the bunkers after launching a pine cone up from under the sand in one of the greenside bunkers as I played my shot.

Rough:
The rough was non-existent. Ended up playing severely shorter on dog legs to account for massive hardpan fairway rollout and no stopping help from the rough.

Even with all the rough conditions of this course, I really enjoyed the layout. It was a fun course that if it gets back in shape can be really excellent. It is a fun track with a variety of holes that can make you run through all the clubs in your bag.
