Played here this morning with Itslikeimsayin. Booked a 7:21 tee time through EZlinks and were paired with another twosome. The price was $70 a player, but we used a 50% off promo code, so it was a steal at only $35 each! It was very foggy this morning, so they purposely added a little buffer between groups teeing off, though the starter seemed a bit confused at times. It was a decent 4.5 hour pace as we never pushed the groups ahead and the group behind didn't push us. The course was in decent overall condition. The greens were excellent, rolling very smooth and quick. After playing Rustic Canyon yesterday, the insane green complexes here didn't mess me up too much, but they are definitely a bit over-the-top here with all sorts of tiers and humps. The fairways were mostly pretty good, though some areas seemed to have multiple types of grass growing in. The rough was patchy with some very tight areas and some very lush thick areas. There were a number of places in the rough roped off as GUR. I was in one bunker and it was excellent. The tee boxes were pretty good, but a little shaggy in places. It looks like they may have been overseeded recently, so should be nicer in another week or two. This was my second time playing here. The fog detracted a bit, but I didn't quite enjoy the course as much as last time. I do like the dramatic canyon back nine here, even though the 12th hole is the weirdest routing design you'll ever see. Other than great greens, the conditions here don't warrant such a high price tag right now. For $35 it was an awesome course. For $70, it would have been less enjoyable. For their normal weekend rack rates, I would definitely feel underwhelmed.
