Rob and I played here Saturday, July 10th, with a 6:51AM tee time and were Joined by two guys from Oregon who were fun to be with.

The day was a gorgeous one with a light breeze and so the whole day didn't even feel hot at all.

The Wolf course, as always is in tip top shape. The teeing grounds were great, the fairways are even better and the bunkers are alright (the ones I was in). The greens had top sand with some evidence of aeration healing, but it rolled smooth and with good speed, so the looks might deceive you from it being a good putting surface- It Is GOOD !!

The marshal helped and did his best to get the folks in front to move on which was great... and they did.

The beverage cart came by a few times and even had a special to keep us all hydrated well and good. (I tell you, they think of everything ! *** :) )

The restaurant service and their food was also awesome, we had lunch there.

The pro shop guys were good and quick to check us in.

The bag drop guys and the cart barn guys- I'm telling you, they are all good and "they really got it together!"

I played the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort (Wolf) on Tuesday, June 15, 2015. Tee time was 8:30am. The customer service from the Bag Drop, Pro Shop, Snack Bar, and starter was excellent. Any questions was answer with a smile. The course was design by Pete Dye, so it was challenging. As long as you were not too aggressive, you should score good. Each hole present a difference set of challenges, and they are beautiful. Adequate supply of water is available every three holes, and the Cart girl makes adequate rounds throughout the golf round. At the end of your round, your clubs are cleaned and stage at Bag Drop fro pickup. This is an awesome place to place golf.

Played here Friday for the first time. I'm a big fan of Snow and Sun and Wold did not disappoint! I LOVE PAIUTE! Other than Dove Mountain (AZ), this is my favorite place to play golf. Conditions were fantastic ball sits so nicely in the fairways. Everything manicured to a perfect length. Greens nice and fast and smooth. Flawless! Sand perfect. Tee boxes immaculate. Rough amazing. Views gorgeous. Layout amazing. Did I say amazing yet?
No houses around, holes apart from each other, just you and this gorgeous, immaculate Pete Dye design... And a little white, er, yellow ball. Can I spread my ashes here when I die?!
Think Wolf is actually my favorite of the three. Although Snow has a special place in my heart since I had my best score there. Can't wait to play here again!!!!!

After several attempts at this course, we FINALLY were able to play Wolf. And it was SO worth the wait. We played Snow and Sun twice before. Paiute has always been one of my favorite courses, and the Wolf course just confirmed it. This course is in immaculate condition. We finished in about 4:20. Tee boxes were flawless; fairways, greens, bunkers perfect! There is nothing bad about this course. Being at the end of November, absolutely flawless and pristine.

I love this course. Great conditions great layout and great customer service. One of my favorites in the Las Vegas area. Played the sun 18 about a year ago and was also a good experience.

Though the color of the greens aren't the deep emerald green in color, it rolled nice and smooth with speeds of 11 more or less. I'll say it is an easy 9 from a scale of 1-10 in good rating.

The fairways are gorgeous and playing conditions were nice and running well. Although My ball sat on a day old unfilled deep divot after a well driven ball on 18th, I still think that the overall conditioning is very-good. That's not the course' fault- definitely a user neglect. Let's hope this does not become a trend on this great course. Despite of that in ident, I'm willing to give a 9.5 from a 1-10 good rating.

The green-side bunkers were with good sand quality although we were only in it once each. The fairway bunkers were also visibly filled with light colored sand from a distance making it almost a pretty sight, but still a warning to be avoided. An easy 9 from 1-10 good rating.

The teeing grounds were a pleasure to tee it, level and with only a few divots- definitely a 10!

My overall playing conditions rating is a high 9.75, but the course enjoyment surpassed that even. The services are superb, from bag drop, check in- pro shop, restaurant/bar, cart beverage, cart barn kids, and Marshalls. All doing a wonderful job in unison.

Played Thursday 5/1, afternoon T time. Second time playing here, first time on the wolf. Great course!! We began the first three holes right in the ending of a shotgun tourney, never waited longer than a minute it seemed, for these guys, after that we played at are own pace, wide open never waited. The starter came by to apologize for their drunken, hooting behavior but was never a problem.
T's, fairways, bunkers and rough were all in excellent condition.
The greens had minimal bumpiness, a scant amount of sand on top, were dry, firm and did not hold the ball as well as I would like. Still they held putting lines well and were quick, I rated them 8/10, with just a week or two from perfect.
I could tell that they recently had replaced sod in the fairways, but only by a slightly different shade, they have completely mended together.
The rough was sticky and lush, again you could only tell where they replaced sod by the shade, except on some mounds where you could see some slight gaps, that never effected my lie.
I thought all this new sod was part of their normal maintenance, not so. The local that joined our threesome, explained that the course was closed for several months, because it sustained major damage from flash flooding, last summer. I would never have guessed, it was in such good shape.

Played here during my Vegas vacation with fellow Gk'er adigital87, what an amazing track, we cought some heavy wind by the 13 or 14th hole that made it very difficult but we made the best of it. this course is a solid 10, and from what I saw driving around the others are just as good.. if your in Vegas, come here.. worth every penny. I'll be back to play the others next time I'm in town.

first visit. awsome course. the island green was intimidating and everything that I expected. 3 of the par 3's were extremly challenging. course was terrific. the only disappointment was the gps. my rangefinder died out and I had to rely it. not very acccurate and screen was about the size of my phone. very difficult to see the screen from both seats.
