great layout, Slow round, but it was a holiday so, no biggy. As for the course, as a member pointed out, this is the worst it has been here in 16 years, why would you pay to play here. Well he was right, 5th time here and i will not go back untill someone is fired and they get someone in there that knows how to care for a golf course. You know there are problums when you rope off 200 yards in as ground under repair. the whole way!!!!!! This wasnt just one hole it was many. Greens were the worst i have played on. The first hole had sand on they green so deep it looked like bunkers on the green. I love this course but i cant go back for a very long time. when i asked a marshal about the course he said it wasnt in bad shape. Aparently he was paid to say that or he was blind. This course is well past an cry for help, it is a starving, three legged dog, thats about to die. Too bad maybe 6 or 8 months it might come back, but then they over seeded a couple of weeks ago and doesnt look at all like it. stay away....

Normally i love this course. This time very disappointed. Greens horrible, i belive a fungis has ruined most of them. Course was very wet but it is decent shape. Marshalls were nice a little pushy at times but kept the round going... good job. Please fix the greens so when we finally come back i hope there fixed. give it a couple of months. atleast....

Greens were in poor shape comparied to when they opened. when you fix ball marks it feels like your hitting rocks. Course looks a little ugly with the dormant grass. Good pace of play, other than that good course.

this is great course and a lot of fun to play. there a lot of visually deceptive things on this course. it makes it a lot of fun. makes it hard to use your driver on some holes from the whites, try the blues creats a lot of forced carries.

good course for a quick 18.. avg shape i have seen it better.

Great course, Nice links style layout with lots of hidden trouble. Greens are very nasty, huge breaks and huge in apperance. Nice and soft, you can really stop the ball. too bad it is so far away... Try this you will like it!!

Very slow friday afternoon. 2nd round of the day, teed off at 2:30 finishing 14 holes. Gets dark a lot earlier than it does in so cal. Great conditions awsome conditions. Great par 3's. no marshals to speak of though. only down side. Try this course you will like it.

sure worth the green fee if you stay at one of there hotels. pace of play a little slow. come on guys play the whites if you can't find the fairways!

Course is great. Had a lot of fun. Sand traps need some attention. And greens were just punched so they weren't great but no reason to complain, we knew it going in. good price with the red dot $27. Only knock was the customer service when returning the golf cart made us move it because he wanted 5 feet away not behind the rest of the returned carts.

Well we were supposed to play rustic canyon, but the santa ana's were whiping, so we chose river veiw as a last resort. the course was in good shape, the greens were supream! best in the area. the fairways were decent and the rough interesting. The tee box's were terriable and the customer service, well the guy in the proshop didnt seem to care that we were there. He should have been happy considering there were only 3 other groups on the course. The layout was goofy and the winds made it impossible to hit the fairway. interesting experience.

course is in pretty good weight. greens just punched, still rough. Tee boxes in bad shape, or than that good course. can be boring, but still a good course.

I am not sure why the last review knocked this place. The course is in great shape. There are maybe two greens that need a little help, but compaired to most of the other courses i have played lately it is in great shape.
