Played Mar 12. Check in was too lengthy because of their need to get
TMI into their database. I guess they want to know where their golfers
are coming from. Very nice clubhouse/restaurant-bar-grill. Very good
food as well.
Just aerified the greens and had a heavy sanding. BIG grains of sand!
Greens here are on the small side making approaches important (but what
approach isn't).
Rough is lush, bunkers are thin. Variety of housing is in and around the layout.
Easy access from Hwy 15.

Played here Jan 8-14. 1st time visit! As members of my reg 4some said--ok to play once
every 5 yrs...
Tight kinda quirky short course. Executive course designed by Rainville. Not fun golf.
Scored well (76) for a par 70 layout. Surprises here and there. Need to play a few times
to get the angles down-(know where to hit it)!
Fay likes having us seasoned citizens around here. Casual attention throughout............
and it shows on the course.....

This course is playing very well right now!
Fairways are defined by green decent grass
and perimeters of dormant brown.
Good roll in fairways and from around greens.
I was on the course at the same time Sammy from
Corona this morning.
Personally, I don't understand his beef about rates
at this course. $31 is very reasonable compared to
the other courses in close proximity. ANYTHING under
$40 is good when it includes a cart. Walking Goose for
$34 is great!! When I can--I WALK!

Enjoyed a "warm" round of golf with Jerry,Sonny/Sunny disposition and the Lady Sharon!
Really like the course layout and amenities. Only "clinker" is warm up area next to the great
chipping green. Need for a couple more water stations.
Neat to play on bermuda grasses! Greens roll true!

Glad to see the city is investing in this property. They have apparently abandoned plans to
turn this into a housing development.
New small clubhouse(no trailers). Landscaping is much improved throughout complex.
There were tree trimmers today on the course! This course is coming back great for we who live nearby looking for a "working" round. Their only defense has always been their small
greens even without undulation.
They even re-paved the parking lot! Looks really good ONTARIO!

This course is like the diamond in the rough. Situated off the Westin's resort complex,
it appears from the drive up to be a local muni. Once past the temp looking facilities,
the course stands alone as the best of the two properties. This is not only the better
challenging but the best looking of the two Westin courses. From drive in to drive out,
I thoroughly enjoyed my time on this golf course!

Played on a "groupgolfer" 65 buck unlimited Apr 25.
Many nice broad fairways and as pointed out by playing companion
reflected the "resort" golf look. No heavy undulations on the greens
however, if they aren't surrounded by bunkers, they have many moguls
as their defense. Typical water jug dispensers around the course which
I found unusual for a high end course. Nice grass practice areas and pro
shop all next to the hotel complex. Very nice golf outing even with the
10-20 mille wind!

Been years since I was last here. Every hole is different and challenging. No slouch muni! Greens were
tough-especially where cups were cut and the wind coming in from the coast! You get your money's
worth (EZ-LINK special). Good to know lay of the course to attempt to hit to the correct side of
fairways. Uphill, downhill, sidehill. Good test of one's skills and the greens were deceptively fast today.

After being told that it is the same rate(walk or ride), I paid my $32 to trudge around to find similar conditions as recently described. This place is on the verge of. I have golf buddies who live in this "golf" community and they choose to play anywhere else BUT here! I understand their plight. The homes outshine the condition of this average at best golf course.
One strange thing I noticed was a big guy riding around in a golf cart "overseeing" the course. I ignored him-assuming that he was the newest "new" manager or the actual superintendent. Apathy is a horrible character flaw! Seemed to be a reflection of the golf course........

Previous golfers have unduly maligned this course. It plays well and is coming back well from when
I played it early in the year. I play all over I.E. and for the money it is good value. Layout takes getting used to as there are many ups and downs, twists and turns. Don't understand why "golfers"
are down on this golf course.

My 4some played May 1 with 20-30mph winds. Course is very fair and in good
to great condition. Rough is very manageable compared to Revere which we
played the day before. Greens are cool! Best part is their GPS! Very good info
provided compared to Primm (which we played the day after). Crappy basic
info on Primm's gps!! For a city owned facility, they do a very good job.
I have read about golfers not liking the pebbles inside bunkers. This just happens
to be the natural lay of the land when in the DESERT!!

Played on a perfect Apr 18 morning. Conditions are very good all around with greens that are contoured multi-level but not severe. Even though it is surrounded by residences, they allow plenty of room for play. Enjoyable course!
