This course is looking and playing amazing right now. The greens were incredible, but I don't understand why people don't fix their divots!!! Tons of ball divots on the greens (inconsiderate)! Bunkers were great. Rough was dry and thin. Fairways were nice. Great PoP.

The course is in fantastic shape right now! Greens are fast, receptive, and smooth. Fairways and rough are lush.

Played 9am on 12/23. Course was not too busy, but still a 5 hour POP. It had rained the night before and the rough is LONG, so that slowed POP. They are getting ready for the Farmer's Open and the course is close to flawless. The only thing that needs some additional time are the greens. They were still bumpy from being punched but are coming along nicely. The rough was lush beyond lush. Love this course!!!

I always like Dad Miller, but today, on a Friday, POP was 5+ hours!!! How can that be? We reported to the marshal several times with nothing done to correct. They are growing out the tee boxes so everything was moved forward. Overall course was in good shape, but POP made completely un-enjoyable today.

Played Friday, July 3rd. POP was over 6 hours!!! I realize it might be a "holiday" but how do you have a 6 hour golf round?!?!?! Greens were incredible, soft, receptive, smooth, and quick. Course is in good shape for the amount of play it gets. Nice challenge, but do you want to deal with the frustration of a 6 hour round?

So glad to see Birch back in play. Many short holes, but great for working on short game. Few holes are tricky, like hole 8! Greens are weird as they almost feel fake, but that is probably because they are new. It is different enough that you keep looking back into the memory banks of the old Birch, but still familiar. Sand is nice, but heavy. Got around in 3 hours. Walking only is awesome. Wish it stayed that way.

I like this course quite a bit and the greens were in great shape, BUT the POP is RIDICULOUS!!! There is no way it should take 5 1/2 to play golf, especially when teeing off in the late morning on a Friday. I have had this experience too many times here, and I am not sure why it is such a problem here.

Who doesn't love Torrey? Right now is about the best I have ever seen the course in. It was flawless, absolutely perfect. POP was 4 hr 15mn. Fairways were carpet, rough was lower than when they are getting ready for a tournament, and the greens were supple and quick. Amazing. Customer service is always great and amazing food at the lodge.

Greens were punched last week so no review for greens, but the rest of the course is in pretty amazing shape. The rough is about as thick and lush as I have ever seen it. POP is great since many aren't playing due to the greens. If you want to work on the rest of your game (besides putting) you can get around pretty quickly. Many of the fairways are very lush. Some traps are very wet due to the greens being watered after being punched. They also have a new deal called "The Loop" where for $13 you can play the first 5 holes during late twilight. Kinda cool.

This is one of my top favorite courses in Southern CA. Always in perfect condition. Played Saturday at 10am. Didn't see a soul the entire day. Maybe it was too hot, but it was nice to have the place to myself. Greens are perfect, fairways are perfect, what can I say... I am in love! The 18th hole is a score wrecker however :-)

Course is in phenomenal shape right now! This seems to be the time of the year that this course is in its' best shape, and right now it does not disappoint. The greens are a bit slow however, but very receptive and smooth. Customer service is top-notch.

Course was in incredible shape. Lots of wet areas on the fairways and rough however. Hard balance during the summer heat. Greens rolled amazing! POP was slow in part due to one group, seemed like they were locals and held the whole course up. Over 5 hour round on a Tuesday. Not my ideal pace. I would like to play again though. Quite a treat.
