Course is in the usual shape... not good. Got in a decent round time wise and enjoyed the customer service, but still a poor value for the condition of the course. I will never understand why a course in this nice an area is not better maintained.

Course is in excellent shape right now. In addition, they have begun the 5 hour guarantee again, so pace of play is excellent (finished today in 4 hours flat with no waiting on any hole). If you do get some slow people, the marshals push them because you get half off your next round if it goes over 5 hours. Course is always a challenge with never a flat lie except off the tees. Not particularly long even from the tips but a great place to play. One of the best OC has to offer.

The course is in maybe the best shape I have ever seen it. Only issue (which has never been good) is the sand traps... which are really dirt traps... EXCEPT for on the newly redesigned 18th hole which had wonderful sand which my partner got to experience. The 18th has been shortened to about 135 - 150 yrds par 3 (white/blue tees) due to the clubhouse expansion. Not a very dramatic finish, but much easier and well constructed. Overall, this is still the best value in OC by far.

Course is in above average shape, but fairways are far from what they should be at the green fee. The tee boxes, sand traps and greens were all in excellent shape however. A decent course at the 2-for-1 rate, but would not recommend at full weekend rate of $210.

Course is in very good shape right now for a muni track. Greens are in exceptional condition right now after aerification. Fairways are pretty standard but soft enough to take a solid divot. Major issues here with getting off on time and pace of play. Tee time was 10:24, didn't get out till just after 11, finished at dusk for a 5 hr 45 min round. Including the fact they ask you arrive 15 min before tee time, I spent just shy of 7 hours here in all for a mid-level course. Simply unacceptable in my opinion. Marshalls are needed here to combat those not playing "ready golf." A nice place to playat a fair value, but be sure you have plenty of time.

Course is in fantastic shape. The overseeding was very successful and the fairways are outstanding. Greens could use another week to recover from punching and, for god sakes, people need to fix divots. Otherwise, a fantastic track as always.

Great resort style layout with wide open fairways and plenty of sand to keep it interesting. Greens can be very tricky at parts. Too much spin on your ball definitely can hurt you here. A very fun place to play. However, today was last day before month long overseeding process. Course was being dried out in preparation. I would highly recommend getting out on this track after it is complete.

Course is in basically VERY poor shape right now EXCEPT the greens and traps, which are wonderful. The fairways are dead and thin. Overseeding is VERY necessary. Tee boxes are chewed up and thin. Rough is, well, rough... In any event, fun and fairly long layout. Pace of play is great as always. In any event, I would say give them some time to overseed and the weather to cool off before spending the money on a round here.

Course is in pretty poor shape right now... but they are in the process of repairs. I would recommend giving it a good month before coming out to play. To be more specific, tee boxes are basically sand. Fairways have been burned up by summer and several areas under repair. Rough has a lot of tire marks and damaged areas. Greens are actually in pretty good shape though.

Course is in very poor shape right now, which is sad because this is a great track. Tee boxes are chewed up and under repair. It was hard to find a flat area to hit from. Fairways are soaked and ground under repair on every hole. Sad to see this course go down like this but I would recommend waiting a few weeks before thinking of playing this course.

Played here for a scramble tournament today (PM session). First time playing the course and I would say it is better than many reviews I have heard. Pretty straight forward layout. Not a lot of sand. A few holes where water comes into play. The par 3s are all fairly similar in distance and type. Conditions are quite good with fairways just slightly dry due to the heat. I think this is a good value given the rising price of golf in Southern California.

First time playing here and it is a shame they are taking this course private. Beware before playing that the surroundings are torn up right now building homes and fixing the course. Holes are well designed and reward both length and accuracy. Only bad things: you replay first three holes for your 16-18 and a par 4 turned into a par 3 while they fix the green. The current green is cut out of the middle of an existing fairway and is a giant lump. Even with these things, course was so much fun and pace of play was fantastic... all for $70. Course will be public till March 2008. Spoke to a single lumped in our group and he is joining the private club. Info to join for anyone interested: $25k down, $495/month. No food/bev requirement. Unlimited golf, only have to pay for the cart.
