Rode the blues at 1:20 (Canyon Crest/Ridgeline)with my three sons, POP 4 hours 37 minutes. Greatest day golfing I ever had. I have never played this course. Recently I played Tierra Rejada, Rustic Canyon, Knollwood and Olivas Links. This was by far my favorite. It was aerated last week and some of the greens still showed it, but the layout is my favorite. As far as the conditions, the tee boxes were level, but a couple were overgrown, fairways and rough lush, sand traps great, from a far thank god. The greens that made a comeback from aeration rolled true. I’ve learned that this is maintenance season so everything isn’t going to be perfect. Golfing is really about who you play with. I’m lucky my boys like to play. I definitely will be back and highly recommend it. Milton the starter is the best.

This is an unbiased review because I was horrible and it wasn’t the courses fault. I rode the blues with a POP of 4:45. It was a longer round, but we didn’t wait on a lot of shots. The course is tough so it took longer. The tee boxes were level and well covered. Fairways were green and lush. Not much rough on this course. If you go off the fairway it’s all hazard. The greens killed me, but they were in good shape, not a lot of ball marks and well covered. I would definitely recommend and I will play it again because I gotta play that course better.

Played for $13 with golfzing/TPC membership at 1:00. POP was 3 hours which is normal for this executive. Vista isn’t a course you would travel to, but if you live in Santa Clarita you can’t beat the price. I look at value in courses and you cant beat $13 with cart, Gatorade, 3 hour round and the large bucket of balls I hit after included with the $32 monthly membership for the TPC.

On to the course, I’m always amazed at these greens, for as much play they get, they are incredible shape. They roll true and make the course. Tee boxes are average, fairways are below average, there is no rough and traps are hit and miss. But for $7 after 4 and living 10 minutes from the course it’s hard to beat. You just have to know what you are playing, it’s not Valencia Country club.

0628 tee off, no issues, started on time. Paired up with a great threesome. POP was 3:45. I can’t say anything bad about this course. Everything was impressive from a value standpoint. Tees, fairways, greens, layout everything was outstanding. For the price it really is a must play. I would definitely recommend and will definitely comeback.

Got a deal on under par, $100 for two with replay. Took the hour drive from SCV and played with my friend. The deal came with a small bucket of balls for each golfer. The pro shop staff was great and we had no problems with the voucher. We planned on playing twice and i thought we’d be done around 6pm and I’d have to wait for traffic to die down.

We got out early 0700 and they put us with Louie, a Marshall from Dad Miller, he was the best, like having a caddy. We finished at 1100 and grabbed hamburgers at the restaurant. I know hamburgers and it might be worth the drive for the burger, the staff was great. After eating we went to the pro shop and they said we could tee off whenever we wanted. We finished by 3:30 and I drove the 2 hours home, it was worth it, $25 per round and range balls is a steal.

As far as the course I’m used to the dry conditions in northern LA County. This course was green and in great condition. POP per round averaged 3 1/2 hours and the second round a foursome let us thru which unfortunately rarely happens in la county. Tee boxes, fairways, greens and traps were in good shape, not perfect, but good. I would definitely recommend this course especially with the under par deal.

Played at 0620 went out with a friend and 2 singles joined us. We played behind 2 foursomes and finished the round in 3 hours 40 minutes. I got a great rate from players club membership, $30 included cart and drink. I know the course gets played a lot but it was in great shape. Tee boxes, greens, fairways, green. Having played Tierra Rejada last Saturday and seeing how dry it is compared to Knollwood made it that much more impressive. I’d play Knollwood over Tierra everyday of the week. Knollwood gets tons of play and the rounds are a marathon, but if ou get out early it’s definitely worth it.

Played after 3pm, got a deal and paid $29. My son and I played behind two foursomes and finished the round in 3 hrs 45 minutes. I really like the layout, but the course is in bad condition, specially the fairways. The fairways were recently punched, but they are extremely dry. Pro shop stated they have a new owner so hopefully there are improvements. That being said I wouldn’t pay more than $29.
