In addition....I should have mentioned range balls were included as were bottles of water throughout the course.

Played at 11am on Veteran's Day with Jfuzz. Had an 1120 time and got out a little early. Played in 4 hours 10 minutes. Very nice course. Challenging layout. Tee boxes were mostly up due to maintenance. Greens rolled well but needed a good cut as they were on the shaggy side. Fairways had been punched and were shaved a bit. A lot like Arroyo Trabuco. No real service to speak of. Not bad just not over the top. No starter, no bev cart, no cart staff after the round. Not a bad thing just worth mentioning if you are into those things. Snack bar between 9's is out of the way and hard to find. The maybe need an additional sign or two. Good experince and they accepted the Greenskeeper coupon without hesitation. Make sure you remember the coupon says after 10am. Good experience would like to play it again soon.

WOW What a great course. Conditions were fantastic. Greens were quick and true. Great variety of holes. Long down hill par 3's and short up hill par 3's. A driveable par 4 and another that plays about 430 uphill. You'll use all your clubs on this one. Hope to get back here again soon.

Great course with a great staff. Nice clubhouse where our group had a very good tri tip dinner. Course was in awesome shape. Nice layout with some very challenging holes. Nicest one we have played so far.

Def recommend the par 3 course. Only 12 holes but you will be challenged. Def a must play.

Played Sunday 9-20-09. We had a noon tee time but got out about 20 minutes early. Mary at the bag drop was great. Very personable. Inside staff was also pleasant and professional. Grass driving range was in good shape. Tee boxes were way over watered probably in preparation of overseeding . Fairways were ok. Greens were very slow. Was not in any bunkers but they appeared to have plenty of sand. Pace of play was ok. 4:40 or so. Not bad for a late Saturday behind a small tournament group. Course was playing very short. Most of the tee blue and black tee markers were moved up to the whites. Course is hilly and narrow. Paid $59 with an email special. Yes there was airplane noise and you could hear screams from the rollercoasters at Legoland but not a deal breaker. I'd play it again.

Played at noon on Saturday with jfuzz. We actually got out ahead of our tee time. There was a tournament out a couple of hours ahead of us. We did not catch them until late on the back 9. Played in about 3 1/2 hours. Very happy with that. Greens were good. Faster than what I am used too. Fairways were pretty soggy for the most part. Rough around the greens very thick. I also had some pretty bad lies near the greens that should have been GUR. Inside staff and starter great job. Bev cart around once each nine. Overall a good day for a Saturday afternoon.

Played at 8am on Tuesday morning in a 2some. Had the course to ourselves and played in 2 1/2 hours. Small tournament out after us. Bev girl came around after the turn. Course was pretty wet in spots and thin in others but did not affect play. Greens were in good shape and rolled well. Just a tad slow. I really like this course. Green fees have recently come down. A must play.

Played Wed 8/5 with a 7:30 start time. Got out right on time and the starter/staff was very friendly. Pace seemed slow as we waited a bunch but played in 4:15. Fairways were very wet and cut long. My driver actually backed up a couple of feet in the fairway. No roll at all. Greens were in great shape and rolled very well. Rough was very thick and wet. One of my favorite courses. Scored $39 green fee on the EagleGlen web site.

Played Tijeras Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. Course is in very good condition right now. Fairways are a little dry and bunkers are too wet but the greens are the best they have been all summer. Pace of play was great both days. Plenty of Marshals and bev cart girls were around frequently. BBQ at the turn is the best around.

Jfuzz and I made the trek south to Torrey Pines this morning for his bday round. We arrived at 6:15 and there was already a pretty long line of folks waiting. The line moved quickly and we were playing by 8am. Although the starter was a little terse, and I could understand why as everyone, except me, asked how long the wait to get out was going to be. Once on the course things moved along well. We played in 4 1/2 hours. Greens were soft, receptive and rolled very well. Very few unrepaired ball marks. Rough was very thick and penal. Bunkers were in great shape. All tee boxes were excellent except #3 which was over watered, muddy and pretty beat up. Not a deal breaker though.

We had a great experience that we will not soon forget. Thanks to Robert Crane of Torrey Pines who sent me an email and offered assistance to get on the course. It was much appreciated and a real customer service bonus for Torrey.

Played in the GK outing. Can't add too much to what has already been said. Greens were slower than advertised but rolled well. I would like another crack at this track sometime. Views were as advertised. If you haven't played in a GK event yet get off the dime and sign up. I play in everyone I can and have never been disappointed in the courses, customer service, fellow playing partners and especially bang for your buck.

Played Wed at 9am. No one out there. Passed a 4some on 10 and played 19 (yes 19) holes in 2 1/2 hours as a 2 some. Caught a group on 7 and we played 16 twice. Although the greens have some areas that are being repaired it does not affect play. I thought they rolled very well. No starter but very few groups out there. Bev girls very good and around a bunch. Iknow some of the reviewers don't like this track cuz of the berns. But play it a few times and you will manage your game better and like the course as much as I do.
