I was very thankful to play Black Gold through a high school team. Although I played only the front nine, I can tell you that it seemed like 18. The course is very challenging, and includes many elevation changes. The fairways/rough/bunkers/green are in great conditions. The rough is slightly hard to hit out of. Bunkers surround most of the greens, and accuracy and knowing distances for each club is a must. Pace of play is usually great, but there can be about a one group delay. The cost to play is, indeed, a little pricey. Whether you would decide to use it for this course would be up to the golfer. It is a challenging couse, which can turn off some golfers, but the conditions for the most part are excellent. I would play this course with some sort of discount, if anything.

Dad Miller Golf Course is a short, yet fun course to play. The conditions are usually excellent, but if the rainstorms come around, there can a LOT of casual water out on the fairway. The fairways and rough are in great condition, as well as the greens. The greens' speed is towards the quick, fast side, although the rain/water accumulated on the green can drastically slow down putts. The course in short in general, and starts off with a short par 4. Pace of play is usually about one group delay, but because the course is not overly long, that factor should make up for a little slow play.

The course is in fairly good condition. As the rest of the feedbacks state, the course is in a little renovation mode. Bunkers are being added to the course, and there are some amounts of sand along the rough of the first few holes. However, the greens are in great condition, and roll fairly true. Pace of play is a little slow. By the time you reach the 3rd and/or 5th hole, pace of play suffers. One remedy is to wave up the group behind. Pace of play as of these days is about one to two groups behind. Some of the teebox areas could use some watering; it is sometimes hard to push the tee down to desirable height. However, after renovations, the course should play very well, and I would play the course again.

Well, the course in general is in fairly good condition. The fairway and rough are in great condition. However, the greens are a little too unpredictable, possibly because of the slightly long grass on the greens. Pace of play at the time I played was only about one group behind. However, it was a great course to play, and it challenges all shot shapes and skill levels.
