Played Tues Aug 28th at 733, check in great, had an hour so used the practice greens for putting and chipping, great facilities. We were 3 walking and while on the first tee a single rider joined us. I thought the course was in real good shape. No isses with tee boxes or fairways, was not in any bunkers. Greens were very soft, we would leave hugh divits with grass pocmarked around the balls. Unlike the last review we saw no fungus. We quicking found out the greens were much faster than the practice greem, rolled real nice. There was a slow 4 some in front of us so POP was not good at 412, for us. Now that is cooling down my friends will come out to I. E. more (instead of playing in O.C. ) and we will play here more often.

Practice facility at Goose Creek Didn't play the course today but I have to commend the workers who keep this place looking like at a gem. The condition of this practice facility is the best. For being as hot as its been the Driving range (Grass, NO Mats) is in great shape with great range balls. The two Chipping areas as well as the 2 putting greens are absolutely in great shape. Practice greens are running pure and smooth. By far this Course's practice facility is the best in the I.E. My compliments to all the hard working Men who keep this course in Superb condition.

Played on a hot Saturday afternoon. Pace of play really was not an issue, with minimal waiting on the tee up until the last 3 holes. Tee boxes were decent being able to always find a level lie. Fairways looked dry, but once hitting from them they were soft and somewhat lush. I never found the sand, but they looked o.k. from afar. Rough was not very penal. Greens were the one flaw of the course but were nevertheless better than most courses in the area. Unfortunately there were quite a few unrepaired ball marks and an inordinate amount of spike marks throughout the greens. Despite this, almost all putts rolled true and at an above average speed.

Out to the Goose on a hot, breezy Saturday afternoon at 230pm on 7/28/18. Course is in overall very good condition. With heat and wind, course looks dry from afar but once out on it the fairways and greens are pretty moist and soft, as management keeps them watered to keep from burning them out. Drives without a lot of runout, and greens are receptive with deep pitch marks. Greens were generally good, but many had scattered brown/bare spots – some are particularly bad (#16). Unfortunately, all greens showed many old and recent ballmarks. They rolled well at medium+ speeds. With the softness, greens were badly showing shoe imprints near the end of the round. Fairway lies were good. Rough along the fairways was cut short and pretty benign. Tees were level. Sand in the one greenside bunker I visited (front left, #17) was a little thin with damp, firm material underneath. Cart girl was leaving for the day as we teed off. Plenty of water available. Some of the most assertive marshalling on a course that I’ve seen in some time. Pin position was stated as #3, but was inconsistent through the front nine – fortunately, we had other yardage tools. Back nine was more consistent. Goose Creek is always recommended.

Played today with a 7 am tee time, but ended up 10 minutes behind. Still was able to finish under 4 hours. Course was in very good condition. Greens has some minor aeration but still rolled true. Greens slowed as it heated up. Staff is always friendly and quick witted.

Played 07/06/18 at 6:30 am. Check in was fast. Everyone in the pro shop was very nice. Went to the range to warm up before my round started. Beautiful practice facility at Goose Creek. I could spend hours a day practicing out there and enjoy every minute.

Course was in fantastic shape. Tee boxes were all level. Fairways were cut perfectly and had some roll out. Bunkers were good shape. Greens were holding shots very well and rolling very nice.

Goose Creek is a course that is made for everyone. You can walk it very easily and it makes you feel like your at a high end course without the high end price tag. Enjoy!

Played Fri Jun 15th at 708, I try to play here once or twice a month, our 4 some rotates between los serranos and mile square and goose, they live in OC and make me drive the 91 once a month and they come out here against traffic, and since I only live 3 miles from Goose it is nice, check in staff is getting to know me since I use the driving range allot. Course was as usual great shape, grens were a little slower because I think the heat made them over water them, fixed allot of ball marks. POP was ok at 405, and I always walk.

Try go get here 3-4 times a month and today was the same as always, GOOD!! The only thing I was perplexed about were the greens. They all were med fast or slow but the one thing that stood out was NO break, everything was basically straight, took all the bite out of them.
