Played today for twlight. I guess the words gotten out...the casual weekend golfers have found out about this gem. Many unrepaired ball marks rolled over by green rolling machine have lead to sand filled in marks on the greens! Many unrepaired ball marks. The greens were sloooow on the front nine. Fairway, rough, sand trap, and customer service were fantastic as always...fix your ball marks. Still a great course, but stay away casual weekend golfers! If you come, please be respectful of others and keep this course beautiful.

I haven't been out to Goose Creek in a while even though I live about 5 minutes away. I have really been missing out by not playing here. I could not believe how great the course looked and played. The fairways were in perfect shape. I did not have a bad lie all day. The greens were smooth and rolled well. The only problem is that people really need to fix their ball marks. It is not difficult to do and only take a couple of seconds! There were multiple greens that had a lot of unfixed ball marks on them.

I went out as a single at about 3pm and I was done at about 6:15. This course is in as good of shape as any course around. I would highly recommend playing this course if you are in the area. It is well worth the greens fees. I will be back for sure.

Played today at 6:30 and in the car by 10:30 (all walking). Course is as always in great condition. Worth the drive from Pasadena.

You know those Las Vegas ads where the guy/gal is surrounded by hot bodies of both sexes and the overindulgences of Vegas in general -- and they are so (yawn) bored?

I kind of get that reading all the consistently positive reviews about the Goose. Played yesterday in a foursome going out about 11:15 and back in sometime just before 4:00. Conditions were very good and the only thing out of the ordinary was that they had had some kind of PGA event earlier. They didn't have there usual pin locations or cheat sheets, and the pins, for the most part weren't color coded, so you played it on judgement (or rangefinder which we didn't have). It also seemed to me that the fairways were cut on the tighter than usual side. There were also a couple of tough pin positions thrown into the mix. Pin 15, near the right edge was particularly nasty. All of which are simply observations and not complaints. Greens were quick but not super fast. Pace of play was a little slow and no cart service, but hey, you got somewhere else you'd rather be? Consistently well groomed course with a nice variety of holes at which we, once again (yawn) had a really enjoyable round.

Goose vs. Vegas kind a stretch as a metaphor? Maybe. But if it momentarily bought to mind the decadent fantasy of your choice for your contemplation -- your welcome.

Played Goose Creek this morning. I have played here twice in the last 8 or 9 years, and will probably play a lot more now that you can book times online (I am lazy and don't like calling courses).

This course really reminds me of a course you might find in the south, with bent grass greens, not a ton of trees and fairly flat. You don't get views like you do at hidden valley or Champions Club. Like everyone says there are no boring holes, every hole is different. My biggest (and maybe my only) about the layout is the par 3s, although they are all pretty unique, 4 of the 5 are between 179 and 188 yards. It is possible you are hitting the same club on 4 of the 5.

The course was in great condition, greens, fairways, rough, and tee boxes were all great. I wasn't in the sand, so don't know what it was like, if looked good. I'll be back soon.

Played 8/5/10. As always, course is in absolutely great condition and worth the few extra dollars you pay to play. No boaring holes here. Great practice facilty with range, chipping and putting greens. Walking is allowed here as the coarse is realatively flat. Pace of play here is generally good because beginners find this coarse too challenging.

Tee boxes were in great shape,fairways and greens were very nice.Lots of hills on this course, at times a little challenging,but fun.Everything about this course was good and will be back to play again.

This course is a gem. The service is excellent. Played on Wednesday at 11:30 and at 3:30 I was driving home. Course in in great condition. Fairways are so nice. Greens were a little slow, maybe ready to be mowed. But they rolled true. Held incoming shots very well. Sand was not too deep, but consistent. Tee boxes had a few divots, but plenty of room and in great shape otherwise.
49 bucks to ride, middle of the week, a nice golfing experience. Played with a regular there named Jim. Hope to see him on GK soon, come join us.

Goose Creek is probably the best maintained and managed daily fee course in SoCal especially when you consider the green fee.
