Played Fri dec 21 with our group, had a 655 tee time, our email from our guy said silver tees and $47, I was first to check in and guy says $52 so I pay, go to the parking lot and say it is $52, our guy questions it so I go back in and the check in guy says "oh well let me check what they gave your group on sign up" found out it was $47 not $52, he gave me $5 back but come on, what kind of service is that, that you just charged me flat rate. Got to the starter and he is usually grumpy but I must say he was in a really good mood, it was a pleasant way to start. So we are on the 1st tee and we get a text from our guy, we are playing whites instead of silvers, ok here we go again as per my last round, my OCD really kicked in and completely messed with my game, not only were we teeing it up 50 back, close to barely being light enough, we have a 2 club head wind to hit into. Not a good start and it continues. The course seemed to be very wet and they appear to have let the grass grow out, not much roll in the fairways and next to none in the rough, was in green side bunker on #2 and the sand was very thin. Many of the pins were placed on slopes so it was not very cool. The green on #17 is just horrible, back pin, you have a 3 foot down hill putt, barely touch it and the ball just rolles 12 feet away. I know many golfers want a challenge but IMHO a course has to be some what fair to the skill level of the majority of players. This course in not fun for older, shorter, or higher handicap players, and truthfully I don't like the attitude of the check in guy, always appears to have an attitude. I am into having FUN and this was not fun, I guess I don't understand the mentality if golfers that they tink it is "fun" to shoot over 95 and loose multiple balls. We are retired and are supposed to "enjoy" our 4 hours with our buds, not get beaten up by the course, I personally "don't " need to be challenged, i need to enjoy the 4 hours.
