Really, I feel like my review after sixpez and Itslikeimsayin is going to be redundant, but here goes. It was my first time here and I arrived early enough to take advantage of both large practice putting greens. I noticed that everything seems to break down into the valley to the southeast. I did not hit any balls, but it looked like a decent range with grass hitting areas to a variety of range targets (big tractor tire, mini goal post, yardage signs, etc...). Sixpez and I grabbed some food from the snack bar. Friendly service; decent food. I had chili and sixpez had a hot dog that they split and grilled on the flat top. I liked the course layout, despite it being so tight at times. It is definitely hilly, giving the course a roller coaster feel; a couple of holes you could hit almost anywhere and your ball will roll to the middle. It was fairly challenging in the wind today. The course plays as a decent muni with nice greens. I almost always had a decent lie with enough grass under my ball whether it was in the fairway or rough. Lots of great opportunities to shape shots, if you have those skills. Apparently, I didn't today. If I lived near here, I'd be back often since deals can be had.

Played with my son, kviser and sixpez using a Golf Moose voucher (2 for $42) today at 10:45. Fun time with crazy winds all day. Not much to add to sixpez's review – greens definitely the highlight here. I would have rated them a 9 if not for that 17th, which knocked 'em down to an 8. Very smooth and medium fast all day. Fairways and rough are decent, but not great. I was only in one bunker and it was fine, although it felt like there wasn't much sand below the surface. Tee boxes had lots of divots and might've been the weakest conditioned portion of the course. Overall, hard to beat for $21 on a weekend!

Played here today with kviser and Itslikeimsayin, along with his son. Kevin and I had bought an UnderPar voucher awhile back ($39 for 2 players) that was expiring soon. Mark and his son bought their voucher through GolfMoose, so we all got a great deal. We had a 10:45 time, which worked out great. There was a nice gap in front of us, so we never really caught the groups ahead and the groups behind us never pushed us until the final couple holes.

Overall the course was in decent shape. The greens, as usual, were the highlight. They were in great shape with the exception of the 17th that had a lot of ugly patches for whatever reason. Tee boxes OK enough. Fairways mostly alright. Rough less consistent, so you get what you get. I was in one bunker. The sand was good, but way too many unraked footprints!

I always enjoy Jurupa. It's pretty dependable and good deals are very easy to find so it makes the rotation of courses I don't mind going back to play every so often. It was really, really windy today and that added a new level of challenge to this course, making some already awkward tee shots (speaking for myself as a big fade hitter) even more uncomfortable.

Finally got back out for a round of golf. Played yesterday 10/11/14 payed $40 for 2 players with an underpar deal. Showed up and staff was really friendly and check in went smooth. Got out on time and caught up to a foursome on the forth hole but they sped up a little once they saw us and we slowed down a touch and pace was never an issue. Finished right at four hours. Course itself is in the exact same shape as I remembered it. Tee's decent, a little uneven all throughout the course. Fairways were in pretty good shape, the kikuyu was still really green but there were some soggy and bare areas. Rough varied from lush to completely burnt out the further you got away from the fairway. Greens were rolling at good speed though there were quite a few ball marks on every hole. Seemed like everything broke towards the valley to the south even when the green looked like it slope the opposite direction. Some greens around the fringes were also bare in some places but never came into play for me. I was in two bunkers and each had sand but was hard packed below a half inch or so. Layout is still kind of funky to me but I'm starting to get the hang of it. I did find myself in quite a few trees. For the price I payed, you really can't go wrong but I think GK says they are aerating tomorrow so wait at least a couple weeks.

Enjoy playing this course because the staff is very accomodating with respect to getting me out as a single first thing in the morning. Obviously pace of play not an issue. Despite the drought, course has held up pretty well. Greens still the best part of the course. Nice interesting track with a variety of holes

I just played here on Sunday 7/27/14 The greens were great, fast and true at all times. Fairways were in good shape as well very little blemishes at all, Bunkers were a little heavy weren't as fine and soft as I would like them to be. Some people think that the power lines come into play, they do but actually only on one hole and if you hit them you have to get the ball up high very fast other than that not an issue. The course all around is great it sits around the rolling hills which makes putting tricky and the lies very interesting if you want a fun enjoyable course to play thats challenging but at the same time forgiving then check out Jurupa Hills GC. Played Friday July 25th Course was in good shape. Greens were soft and rolled nice. Because of the heat, they actually had sprinklers hitting some of the greens. Those were too soft. Was not in any bunkers so can't comment on sand. If you were in the fairway you had a good lie, and if you were in the rough it was long enough to be an issue. POP was good 4 hrs. I always enjoy this course.

When is management going to understand that it takes more than a nice course for repeat business? had a 7:15 tee time and finished at 12. over 4 1/2 hours on a Monday? We were moving okay, 2 foursomes and us (a 3 some) and then on #10 they let out 2 groups of 2 , one between the foursomes and one ahead of us. We then waited on every hole. No clue reason to send them as you can see the first tee and no one there. Bad management. Will not be back for awhile. And people, if you can't hit a drive at least 220 or so, STAY AWAY FROM THE BACK TEES!!! no marshal so no help there.

It's been about 18 months since I last played Jurupa. The course is probably in the best condition I have seen it in ! Fairways actually have grass, greens are very good and just generally the course is much improved. For me personally, the only downside is they restrict when you can start in the morning. (6:00am now, whereas in the past I could tee off before sunrise. Maybe that's the price of improved conditions?

I had the second time off, but two very nice older ladies allowed me to play in front of them. The only condition was that I play slow enough so as to not interfere with mainenance, which I did, but caused me to take about 2hrs 40 min to avoid catching them.

Enjoyed the course, pace of play and overall conditioning, only wish I would have played better!
