Service: The staff from cart Barn, Proshop to food and bev were all very pleasant and helpful.

The Course Conditions: The greens rolled well at a moderate speed. The fairways runs well and lush, the roughs weren't punitive, however, the bunkers could have used more attention but not terrible at all. teeing grounds were fine.

The Course Design & Layout: This is a very demanding course but good and fair to those disciplined to respect its challenging designs for risk & reward situations. Some of the holes are short but are severely protected. The longer holes are mostly down hill. Most of the fairways are generous. The par threes are long and protected, however, there are bailout spots in each of them to be able to make an up and down for par. Also, they are mostly playing down hill.

Aesthetic & Setting: The magnificent mountain rocks that had been mined for many years shows the strength and foundation history of this course as its bones. The emerald green fairways winds around the rocks and a few small lakes. When mixed with height and cliffs to cross land and make par to a signature hole, this will easily sepparate Oak Quarry from many others.

Many players, including me, have been used to the classic golf designs which is fine and always good golf. Playing Oak Quarry's Schmidt Curley design may just be the new classic in the modern golf designs.

In a course with great views for the eyes to feast, it my almost be enough to take your game away from you... almost.

Played in Greenskeeper event on 4/13 here. Course is very fun and greens can be very challenging. Great layout and course is in great shape with only problem spot to me the sand bunkers. Very hard and not enough sand for my liking. Greens run true but are very tricky to read but accept shots very well. Fairway and rough are in good shape as well with only one fairway in tough shape. The best part of course to me is the layout and scenery. I will be back from Vegas to play this course again because of the fun factor and the very good customer service!!

Played in the greenskeeper outing and had a great time. This was my first outing and it will not be my last. The course was great, unfortunately my game was not. The spinal slide par 3 is one of the best holes i have ever played. great views from the course. Thanks GKer for the wonderful outing.

Love this course! Many unique holes and lots of variety.Greens roll true but speed did vary.Bunkers were hard packed and very difficult.

What a fun and unique course.Each hole presents a new challenge. Some courses are just a series of the same hole over and over. Not here.You must make choices on each hole as to how you want to approach it.The views and surroundings are breath taking. Fairways are in great shape except #11 which was mostly dead dry turf. Greens seemed to vary in speed but rolled true and were very challenging. On the front 9 I was in only the bunkers on #1 (All 3 in front of the green!) and the sand was good. The only other bunker I was in was on 18 and it was like concrete. I loved playing this course and look forward to playing again.

Played in the GK Outing today. Course was in great condition! Fairways and greens were in great condition. The bunkers on the front 9 were perfect- fine, soft, deep sand. The bunkers on the back were a different story. Hard pack under an inch or so of soft sand. Wish I wasn't in a position to know this! This track offers something for everyone- it's challenging but fair. Greens are fast but true. Scenery is breathtaking. Customer service here is always topnotch- conscientious without being pushy. Only real downside was the GPS in the cart was not consistently accurate with pin placement.

Thank you Oak Quarry. Played 4/13/09 with the Greenskeeper.org casual outing. Course conditions and customer service is outstanding at this course. Thanks to the golf pro, we were able to get some bunker lessons before the round. My only recommendation is more and better sand in all the bunkers. Overall, a very challenging and scenic course. Thanks GK.

Another great Greenskeeper.org outing. Course was in great shape, the vistas are stunning, never get tired of looking at them, can see more when I'm a passenger (Thanks Bruce-GreenShirt for driving). Bunker as everyone mentioned need some sand, otherwise course in spectacular shape, service as always was A-1, greens were wicked but fair if you read them right. Our 4some left a lot of birdies out there, hope someone gets them on their next outing there.

Great course and layout, as well as awesome GK event today. Nice views around many holes of the rock mountain around you. Nice par 3's here. Great conditions from tee to green, with the exception of the bunkers, as there was not much sand in them and they were pretty hard. Other than that, course is very nice. Remember, all putts break toward the valley.
