Stay away from for a couple weeks at least!!! The greens here are in sad shape with no fee discount given? There is not nearly enough sand on the greens to fill the large holes punched in them! The tee boxes are in good shape and the traps are much improved. Fairways are hit and miss with spots of thick and thin both mixed. The course was not busy at all for a Saturday morning - we were a few of those stupid enough to pay full fair for a course not nearly deserving. The staff is always great here and great to talk with. The round took only three hours to finish which was nice - just stay away for a while unless you enjoy thin very bumpy slow greens!

I played yesterday with a Meet-up group. We had 20 players and a nice deal for $42, including range balls. I had a long-expired Group Golfer voucher that I was hoping to use. I called about a week ago to see if they would accept the $25 I had paid towards yesterday’s fee. The guy I spoke with said he's never have heard of Group Golfer and had no idea what I was talking about. (really??). Anyway, I took the voucher with me just in case. The same guy was there when I checked in. He said he couldn’t give me the $25 credit but I calmly and persistently explained that the paid amount doesn't expire and he finally accepted it. Our first group teed off at 9am. The course had a few interesting holes, but overall pretty ordinary. The tee boxes were all thin but level. The fairways were thin and patchy but playable with lots of roll. The fairway bunkers were terrible, just big hard dirt holes. The greenside bunkers were clean and soft. The greens were the best part. They were soft, smooth, fairly fast. There were very few ball marks which was very nice. We finished in just over 4 hrs. Each hole is named after a famous golfer with their photo at the tee box. I really enjoyed looking at the pics. I’d like to play here again when it’s in better shape. Hopefully by then they will also have logo balls for sale.

2/5 last of the birthday rounds $16 cart fee 930 tee time but the starter worked us in at 850 real friendly staff excellent customer service had not played here for over 20 years and kris my playing partner and fellow birthday boy had never played this course. didnt remember much about the layout course is pretty straight forward with a few holes with blind landing areas but fairways are wide enough to be forgiving. with all the housing around now it looks like mennifee lakes with more elevation changes. fairways were dormant but gave good lies no real rough except in a very few places mostly closer to the side of the greens. greens were really good rolled well and consistently--only the front of 8 was really chewed up. very few ball marks anywhere green side bunkers were well groomed medium heavy sand consistent well filled quite playable. fairway bunkers were more firm and playable as indicated by kris. tee boxes were level generally in good shape with only one or two exceptions. pop right at 4 1/2 following senior mens and a skins game of 3-4 4somes. shout out to GK and LEGENDS for the birthday promotion worth the hour 15 drive to play a course in above average winter condition looking forward to a summer round

Place was very busy today with many golfers. Our group was able to finish the round in four hours - we were off early! The fairways are nearly all dormant with many clumps of green everywhere. The tee areas were in passable shape but a little thin. The traps are in better shape than in the past as well. The greens were great with the exception of the 8th - terrible shape! Almost every green still showed signs of recent maintenance - not sure how long ago that was done. The staff is great here and the rates are acceptable.

Most greens were nice, save for #8 on the front....huge dead holes in the front rt. quadrant---had to be some sort of disease. $39 holiday AM rate was pretty good compared to other local area courses. Great, quick pro shop service and starter--very efficient.

played 1230 with a foursome, got around in just under 4 hours. driving up we were a bit worried by the way the course looked but quickly found that the looks can be deceiving. fairways, which were a little dry and thin had good coverage and who doesn't like longer drives? the rough was essentially the same length as fairway in most places with no bad areas that I noticed. greens were in great shape, soft enough to stop 2 low burning mis-hit 7 irons, and putted true with medium speed. fairway bunkers were in bad shape and 1 of the 2 greenside bunkers I hit was as well

Like a previous poster, I too had refrained from golfing my ball here. Pleasantly surprised at the condition however. Greens were in superb shape, fairways very good--- although tough to hit. Rough was very penal, tough to find balls hit offline as balls submarined. Not the longest track but narrow landing areas and tough rough made up for a lack of pronounced length. Be ready to hit accurate tee shots --hitting the fairway here goes a LONG WAY. Better to be 140 out in the fairway than 120 in the rough! Sand straps were a joke....WTF? Come on get out there and work on them please....it's the last piece of the puzzle really. Enjoyed the free rd. with the birthday promotion.....paid just $15 for a cart-- can't beat that eh? Especially when they offer it to you a week ahead and in back of your birthday. Give it a try.

Played twice (16- and 30-Aug 2015) Oh Yay... Temeku is back. My buddy and I have kept this off our rota for a few years now having watched the previous owners run it into the ground. Without dwelling on the drought-condition fairways - these are way better than most courses, even Escena in Palm Springs - the Tee Boxes and Greens are just great, Rough is penal with that heavy bluegrass/rye so I would try to avoid. Sand bunkers average (whatever - welcome to SoCal). We are so HAPPY this place is back in fighting shape!! If you haven't played DO, the track is well thought out. POP weekend mornings: right at 4hr to 4:15hr. (as per sd3bs, the ducks have indeed been corralled away nicely!)

Course in good shape for the weather conditions but actually a little soggy in a few fairways. The tee areas always good here along with the fairways. The rough can be hit and miss depending on where you end up. There are a few water holes (nice to see the duck poopulation has fallen dramatically) that come into play! The greens are the draw for this place. The greens have been very good since the PGCC bought the place. The green fees are fair if you use a booking site - the morning weekend rack rates are not reasonable for comparable courses. The traps definitely need (AND HAVE) attention - most are in fair to poor shape. I enjoy the course and recommend it for all.
