Played Fri Nov 6th at 910. At check in Ruth is just a joy to begin a round of golf, the entire staff is very friendly and nice, after check in we were told about the tees being moved because maintenance was being done on the tee boxes, well truthfully it really did mess up the round, we play whites and most of the whites were way back by the blues, did not like the course at this lentgh, and since we had a 4 group tourny going on, we couldn't change tees. The course was very dry with the exception of #1, there was a small pond in front of the green, standing water the size of a car. Other than that the fairways were very hard and the ball just rolls,. Hole #6 prime example, hit your 2nd shot up by the green and it rolls back 70 yards into the water. Hole #16 we teed off from the blues on a tee box we didn't even know was there, it was a very long carry into the wind and when everyone is up in age, this distance was just too much. The greens have recovered and well not bad, will be better in another week. If you are going to play here soon, and you are a shorter hitter, play the reds, not the whites where they have them, do not feel you are playing the womens tees, theses are the tees you will enjoy your round from. This round was no fun. I unfortunately did not think the course was in that good of shape.

Played here Monday 11/2 so review is a little late. Course is in very nice condition. The greens have recovered from aeration and are mostly smooth playing med-fast. Traps are decent with adequate sand but compacted. Tee boxes are being repaired and tees are placed on the red tee box. Hole#8 Par 3 appears to have tee boxes replaced with mats, unfortunately ball can not be placed on a tee. POP 4 hours.

No inside dining per Riverside County rules. One of the best golf course values for the area. Staff friendly as usual.

The course is arreating the greens this week, so they discounted their standard green fees, which is fair. The tee boxes where level and firm, and not too many divots. The fairway was in really good condition, firm, fast, and tight. The rough was short and playable for an approach shot. The bunkers are firm but not concrete firm. The greens are aerated. The greens, are take 2, and move on. It will be nice in about 2 weeks. Fun playable track.

5:36am tee time, which would have been really dark, but because of the inefficiency of the staff, didn't even get our carts until 5:50am. Still a bit dark, but the delay actually worked out to our advantage. (This time) Following a twosome, who were initially slow, but eventually picked up their pace, so pace of play turned out OK, about 2 1/2 hours.

Course was in decent condition. The greens were not as good as the last time I played. Just did not roll all that true. Fairways were very tight and afforded plenty of roll. Bunkers were not maintained even a little. Rough was very playable.

I'm always impressed by how well the maintenance staff maintains this course. It is my understanding that they have a rather small crew. Despite the fact that they allow golfers to tee off very early, the maintenance crew rarely intrudes with play.

I will say that I missed Ruth not working in the pro shop. She is such a breath of fresh air and a pleasure to deal with. A real positive to begin the day.

There weren't really any major issues with the course. Some workers out doing worker
stuff but the course was nice. Fairly busy and when we left at 1230 there must have been
some giveaway because it was packed with people for later tee times.

The back 9 for sure played tougher when the wind was coming in and them blasting TNT
next door was an interesting distraction for sure.

The greens were good but got a little bumpier on the back and some of the sand traps were
soaked with cementy type sand. 9 and 18 traps were totally crappy.

Anyways, for 32 bucks with whatever deal my buddy got it was still a fun place to head out
and hit the links for a week day round.

Played Fri jul 31st at 8:12, got out on time, staff in the club house are all very friendly, this is the way to start a round. Course was in good shape with the greens being the best, fairways were a little thin and the ball ran, not in any bunkers, some of the tee boxes were a little messed up, especially #9 it was very hot 105* and the cart girl came around 5 times, and she took cash, very good, stay hydrated. You have to play here more than once every 9 months to get comfortable with some of the holes and to know the breaks on the greens, POP was a little slow at 435. As stated in other reviews, holes #6 & #18 are really not good design for the average golfer, the course needs to let the grass grow at the water edge to give some buffer for the water to not roll into the water. I mean if you hit it into water, take your penalty but to hit it 30 yards to the left of the water and have it roll into the water is just not right. The course needs a 10 foot long grass buffer at the water, you slicers take you chance with the water, but stop killing everyone else.

Played this morning and for $33 senior rate you can’t beat it. Except for a couple of holes that I believe are on the edge of unfair (#6&18) this course is a fun course to play. As far as Covid goes, ... Continue »

Played this morning and for $33 senior rate you can’t beat it. Except for a couple of holes that I believe are on the edge of unfair (#6&18) this course is a fun course to play. As far as Covid goes, patio outdoor for beers afterward and no masks mandatory.

The wind that I have heard many complain about in relation to the design here was in evidence but I'd call it a blessing during these hot summer days. But it does make some challenging holes even more so. Agree with all recent reviews as to the state of play and at $30.00 senior rate, excellent value. The vast majority of golfers in and around the clubhouse were wearing masks and social distancing was observed as well as I've seen it at any course. The price, the Customer service and conditions obviously contributed to the full parking lot and good patronage. POP was okay in spite of the numbers. Our 1130am tee-time meant a second go around for the day for our carts and that always concerns me that they'll have enough juice for the back nine here but my worries were unfounded. Playing here again this week - that says it all, really.

I have played Dos Lagos many times and each time I go back, I keep being amazed. The first thing, the staff is fantastic. Everyone is friendly and extremely helpful. Unlike most courses today, Dos Lagos keeps a starter at the first tee all day. That is very helpful in making sure groups go off at the right times. Secondly, the starter, checks your start time at the halfway point as well as when you finish your round. Pace of play is more than just a slogan to them.
The course is in fantastic shape for this late in the summer. The greens are the best I have ever seen and the fairways are tight, but in good shape. The tee boxes are a little dry in places, but still playable. If I have to have a complaint, it is will their traps. They have sand, but it can be very hard at times. That being said this course is in great shape and should not be missed. Excellent job to everyone who works at Dos Lagos.
